No Tigers Tim

Rumours today say that he won't play today and history tells us we struggle without out Tiger Tim Simona

2016 - without Tim - 0 Wins, 3 losses
with Tim - 5 wins, 4 losses

2015 - without Tim - 0 wins, 4 losses
with Tim - 8 wins, 12 losses
2014 - without Tim - 2 wins, 8 losses
with TIm - 8 wins, 6 losses

SO over the last 3 years
Without TIm - 2 wins, 15 losses
With TIm - 21 wins, 22 losses

Now some of this comes down to the depth we have to replace him which is hopefully an improvement with Chee-Kam this year compared to Milone, Hoeter, etc last few years. but it also really tells the story of how improtant he is to the side given we haven't won a game in more then 2 years with out him

So basically with Tim we're still only borderline average and without him we're shot birds? Anyway I'm suggesting it's more a reflection of depth in the centres rather than Tim Simona's importance to the team.

Chee Kam is an adequate replacement, but when he played vs Knights(replacing Naiqama)we never shifted it once to his and Nofo's side,we solely went with Simona/JAC. I hope we get JAC some ball today

Maybe you can list the teams we played, where etc

I said the same thing in another thread. I love Simona. I think he is great but he has had an ordinary season with us and the people that don't rate him are getting plenty of ammo.

The main problem when Simona has been out is that we had Patty outside of him who was the slowest winger in the comp by a mile and Simona was replaced with players like Milone and Lovett. We basically had no attack on that side and no defence because those two positions are being filled by players too slow to play first grade in those positions. It wasn't one weak position. It was two weak positions that structurally are next to each other.

I think we are in a much better spot with JAC and presumably MCK on that side today if Simona is out.

I thought it was a team sport. No one player wins a game for any team - they contribute to a win He did that pretty well last week.
