Now this might get a few people worked up abit, but I think it could be a good move. He would essentially be taking Moses’ spot. Now he’d cover fullback and centre but would need some work with halves and hooker roles. But this worked well for Fitzy back in the day.
Now with a wing spot up for grabs it would give one of our juniors a crack. It would also cement Hastings at 6 or 7.

opens a spot for a junior to take a wing spot? i remember before we had ken doll we had all those gun wingers lining up for that spot that are now stuck in reserve grade waiting for their shot

He has no utility value.....

He's definitely not a hooker or a half - not enough football smarts. I think he'd be OK in the centre depending on who's around him. He's already covered as a backup fullback and I'm OK with this in a pinch but it's not a long term solution.

Nofo still offers a lot when he runs straight and hard. His much maligned defence improves based on the decisions of his inside team mates. I'm sure if he was tele-ported into the Roosters, Souths or Storm his defence would become miraculously solid.

I definitely don't see him as our 14.

The only way to improve Nofo is to have an extra player on the field to defend outside him. Unfortunately the rules don't allow that.

Well as much as I appreciate Noffas loyalty to the club as a junior,he has been a thorn in our side defensively for ages and ages,his carries were good,his runs were hard....

The best thing would be if Lee took him to his office and paid him to sort mail and shred documents...

I think people are still a bit unfair on Noffa.. he does the dirty metres and is a good finisher. His struggles under the high ball are more to do with his height than athleticism.

As for defence, there are definitely moments where he has struggled but seriously the overlaps are more than 1 defender most of the times. If you need to rely on your winger to stop the try.. you've lost it somewhere else.
