Apparently it is a 6 week lay off.

According to The POM in the Tigers team thread they don't think it's serious but he's having scans, not yet determined extent of injury. That was yesterday afternoon.

Gees we can't take a trick in the injury dept can we. That's bad luck for Owen ahh I mean Tui.

Well the storm have a free run down the right side now ., this will be ugly !

i'M NOT TOO WORRIED. HE WAS WAY OFF THE PACE LAST WEEK. He needs a few games in reserves to get match fitness up. Shame Gamble cant play fullback….

Esan Marsters will be the goal kicker I believe. Hopefully they will bring Tyson Gamble onto the bench ??

That's awful news.

Though it puts Nof on notice too. Perform or get dropped again next week.

Id rather Marshall at centre and Kev at fullback. This game could really kickstart us for the year. Winning both rounds one and two against the favourites would give us some breathing space, breath real life into the supporters, bring the crowds out and off we go. Kev against anyone in the backline defensively is such a disadvantage.

Anyone else know a more exact time being suggested that Tui will be out?

Has there been a reason for the lay off .. what injury has he got ?

Well who plays 5/8?

Reynolds is out. Marshall and Brooks seem to be working as a spine, don't muck with it.

Thompson moving to Number 1 makes more sense then Kevin there. If Thompson goes center to let Kevin go 1, Then he is really playing out of position. The only other way to go would be bring Founa into the Centers and have Kevie go 1, keeping Thompson on the wing.

Against Melbourne your Wings and your fullback will be tested. I can see Kevie struggle defensively at Fullback but bringing a bit in attack. Thompson to Fullback is the right decision.

It looks like Thompson is at the top of the pecking order and Founa is at the bottom. Did not expect that.

That's bad lick for Tui and us.
Don't be surprised if Thompson is fullback in defence and Kev in attack.

Obviously now we have to start looking at the Concord training surface , look at the amount of knee , hamstring and calf injuries we have had this off season alone
