Nofoaluma in

Happy with this I think blooding some youngster albeit forced is only good, lets face it our season is shot anyone who thinks it isn't is deluded so you have to have some positives out of so many negatives and blooding youth is the only one, congrats David take your chance pal

Interesting to see what happens to Big T/Richards next year and where they slot in.
Nofo surely would have had his debut earlier without his injury but definitely deserves his spot. Probably a good thing they are missing Everingham this week and all they have is Merritt trying to impress for Origin.
We really do have some weapons, lets hope they are used properly and not exposed tomorrow night.

Can't wait to see him in first grade hope he does well as I've heard alot of good stuff about him off mates and this forum

GO THE TIGERS !!!!!!

Lets not get two carried away ,one has to prove themselves at this level before Pat Richards has to start worrying , a good performance tomorrow night will be a start, no expectations sometimes is a good thing …good luck young man!

I haven't seen him play. I wish him good luck and I pray for the teams sake he can catch the footy. He would be the first young player coming through who could.

Wow. Look back to a few years ago when these boys were both in Harold Matts carving up the place I remember people on here raving on about them. At that time Nofoaluma and Tedesco were neck and neck for the fullback role but Nofoaluma showed plenty at centre and Teddy was just a little too good at fullback. Never would have thought they'd both rally through the grades and end up cracking it. Rarely does that happen. Congratulations to the lad and I hope he slays it. **He's certainly a rare talent.**

That is lofty praise. He has been solid but not exceptional in the few games I have seen him play. Hope he has a great game tomorrow and builds on it from there. Go well young fella

This is great news. Nofo is a great young player who will add a lot to the team for years to come. We have a lot of high quality young players who we need to blood this year so we are set for the future

He's rare in that he is short, stocky but still super quick lol.

Finally made the grade, in the past injuries have hit just when he was about to get the call. Reminds me of a Sam Perritt style winger, and if he is half as good as Sam,that will do me. Really at present he is much more up to FG than Koro

To be fair Marika though, the poor bastard has been basically used as a prop this season. Just hitting the ball up coming out from our own line. Can't even remember him once being put in the clear by his centre this season, give him that sort of opportunity and he will carve up as he has shown last season. He looks to also be way down on confidence ATM as a result.

well done!

Hope he plays his own game without worrying about making the team go worse.. well because surely we are at rock bottom by now!

Official, Nofo in for Utai who failed an injury test today!

Good luck to him.

The timing of the announcement is interesting. The club very rarely announce replacements prior to kick off. Is it just the cynic in me that thinks the decision to announce it here is dictated by public relations?

errr, short? I looked up his stats a few months ago in preseason. From memory they were 97kg and just shy of the 6 foot mark. Teddy's around the same. So, he's probably a bit below average for the NRL but compared to the 5 foot 7 mark or whatever Utai is he's a definite step up.

Unfortunately, the tigers profiles aren't working for me so you'll have to take my slightly shoddy memory's word for it unless it's working for others?

It's a vicious circle. When 1 or 2 players start to lose confidence a lot of the other players follow. A good game by the team tomorrow will certainly boost confidence for next week's match at Leichhardt.
