Nofoaluma

did you see Hurrell suck all the defenders in with that tried ole step. Nofoaluma should have done his homework. Nofoaluma was the first sucked in - the rest like 10 pins came down. The giant has awoken - ohh Hurrell!! We serve you almighty master!!!! Take us to the top 4 master
My question is - if Nofoaluma is afforded these miscalculated occurrences in defence - Why is Koribete not?
Why is Koribete not in first grade. Did he lose that electryfying step - does he not accerelerate at 1-100klms per hr per square inch anymore??
Hmmm he must be injured.
Sorry guys, ignore this post.

Nofa has always had this in his game, even during 20s and State Cup.
It's simple really, wingers come in because they have no trust in their centre partner. Throw in "King Kon" Hurrell who is a noted BOWLING BALL and the trust and communication is out the window! So many tries can be prvented if the wingers simply marked and stayed on their opposing player i.e Nofa, Koro, Mr T etc etc… but that's a topic for another day!! lol

Answered my own question.

If your saying koro in for nofo then that will do me you have no idea champ. nofo can do things koro can only dream off.

Actually Koro is explosive raw talent, he just needs game time, with that he would be a nrl star.

The level of disrespect you have talking like that is completely uncalled for.
Y do u think it's appropriate to swear like that? Or is that the kind of bloke u are?
Unnecessary - pull ur head in

I agree that at present Nofo is a far more reliable selection then Koriobete. Koriobete still has a bit to learn in regards to defensive reads, although i think with the same centre inside him, he'll improve week by week. Its only gotta be a matter of time before we see
1\. Teddy
2\. Koro
3\. Nofo
4\. Simona
5\. Richards

I think this is the future for some years to come hopefully. Lulia and Lawrence should be on notice by Potter imho. The only other option I can see if Sirro at centre, but thats not the way I'd go.

Nofo made a mistake therefore all of Koros mistakes are fine?

What was the point again?

That mistake that Nofo made increased Hurrell's worth by at least a $100,000.
Have you ever seen Hurrell score a try like that in his career. I don't think so Lat. He's the type of guy that barges over the tryline. It hasn't happened. That's why he couldn't crack first grade the week we played them - did that ever occur 2 u? - the headlines the week after Hurrell rushed back into first grade. Where did that come from.
Nofo's mistake made an ordinary man look super human.
Did that ever occur 2 u ….. :roll

but that's not the reason i posted - that was just a side note - back on topic

Can moderators please re-title this thread - The Flying Fijian - thank you in advance.
This thread is not about Nofo as much as it is about Koro.

My understanding was that Hurrell was on the way back from injury, so they picked him on the bench with the aim of giving him some minutes in either the back row or centre rotation. Plus he's hardly an "ordinary man", he's a giant of a boy who's still on his way to manhood. Players can learn new tricks, so you shouldn't be surprised when all of a sudden a professional rugby player can pass a ball.
Seems like you need to pull your head in a bit and engage in an educated discussion rather than shooting down every other suggestion as if it's complete and utter rubbish. If by your logic Nofo made him look superhuman, then he's sure as hell not the only one to have done so in Hurrell's short career, and as others have said, he definitely wont be the last.

Look the entire team switched off because they heard the half time hooter ,which is inexcusable If they move up in a straight line Hurrell probably dies with the ball

At least Nofoa was still following the ball across field to attempt the tackle , the rest were bunched in the middle of the field

Hurrell must run past 6 Tigers players in a 15m squared space

When they finally worked out it was still game on it was too late

That old saying about the games not finished until you hear the final whistle still rings true

Sorry Vanilla Thunder but i wasn't talking to you - i was talking to Lat - its a rivarly thing i think with him - he follows me around this forum, don't know what it is with him/her.
ego maybe? - anyway - you're in depth knowledge of Hurrell's progress is rather impressing Vanilla Thunder. I didn't know all that about Hurrell. I better leave my opinion on my arm chair.
Of course, why was i thinking that Nofo could tackle Hurrell - especially Hurrell coming back from injury as you say to play for a few minutes, stretch his legs??? What got into me?? I admit it though - I'm no expert…...

Also LaT - that mistake if you noticed created a vacuum - it sucked in all the defenders.
it was crucial - it could have been the turning point - apart from the abysmal refereeing.
Unless you can think of something else to enlighten me on this matter. I appreciate any feedback.

I'm not saying not to expect Nofoaluma to tackle him is ridiculous, more that it's unfair to expect him to make every tackle, even more so when many a better player have missed as well. It's unfair to say that Koro could do much better as well, Nofoaluma has a better defensive technique.
And all sarcasm aside, I'm not pretending to be some sort of expert on Hurrell's life and development; I'm here as a fan, on a fan forum, sharing my highly uneducated fan opinion as should be my right. I'm not out to get you, more seeking discussion, so I apologize if that's how it came across

I'll have to take your word for that, last time I remember having anything to do with you was when you were randomly hunting down and negative voting my old posts when the old rating system was in use….thats how long its been. Thanks for the chuckle.

Though seriously what is it with some nancies in here getting their panties in a bunch because someone had the hide to comment in "**their topic**"? There are only a limited number of people here, you would have to have some serious issues to claim people are following you.

Its just a forum mate, relax.
