I was interviewed by Donny on Skychannel at the Black Opal in about 1988. It ended up with me having him in a headlock on the ground. Needless to say it didn't make it to air. Bit pissed that day.

These made me think of you @tiger_one saw them on an Aussie Nostalgia page. I do recognise the milk ad quote, however the others are before my time.

The top one is a quote from Ted on Kingswood Country, an Australian sitcom that was broadcast on the Seven Network from 1980 to 1984. Huge in its day. And Ted loved his Kingswood, hence the reference to having polished the (oil) dipstick.
"She goes, she goes etc etc" hahaha from a character called Kylie Mole on an Australian sketch comedy television series that first aired from 16 February 1988 until 11 November 1990 on Network Ten. Again, very popular in its time.
And the 3rd down "Oh My God. How embarrassment." from a character "Effie" aka Efthimia Francesca Stephanidis (better known as just "Effie"), an outrageous comedic character played by Australian actress Mary Coustas. Coustas depicts a stereotypical second-generation Greek Australian. The character originated in the popular Seven Network comedy program Acropolis Now which ran from 1989 to 1992.
