Like when Mr. Arnotts biscuits( at the time) ,from Australia, went to America in 1956 ( I think) to see the Kentucky Derby.
The winner was - “Tim Tam”, and the rest is history !
Getting cracked over the knuckles (mostly by stealth) brought you back to the classroom ,back in the day

Just checked Google, Tim Tam won the Kentucky Derby in 1958( my earlier error).
