Video Village aired on HSV7 from 1962 - 1966.
Standing on the set are Liz Harris ("Mayoress") and Danny Webb ("Mayor").

So relateable to kids at the time as the simple set mirrored a table top game format, like ludo, snakes and ladders etc.

In January 1989, the Australian Soccer Federation dropped its $300,000-a-year tobacco sponsorship with Rothmans (Winfield brand) to sign a landmark $1.5 million-a-year deal with the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth).

This transition briefly rebranded the national team into the "Quit" Socceroos to promote anti-smoking health messages
