Just before Christmas in December 1974 a bought an ex cop K1 Honda Four from the Auctions in Leichhardt or somewhere around that way. I think from memory it may have been Sydney Motor Auctions at the time.

Had been to an auction prior and they were going for around the $750 - $800 range but I then went to an auction pre-inspection and saw one that I really liked and bought pre-auction for the premium price of $840.

Didn't want to miss it at the next auction so I bit the bullet and paid up. Another mate of mine bought one not long after but at an actual auction.

There was a track I'd go to upstairs on George St down nr Liverpool St I think... Had my own cars it was great fun
The top fuel door slammer equivalents in slot cars were called womp womps I think... Super fast but didn't look good... My cars u could get body shells like mini and EH Holden... Paint em up 👌
The bro inlaw has one bigger than that in his parents back shed. I have a crack once a year at Xmas for about 5 mins.
He’s 50, still lives with mum and dad and still plays with toys?
He’s single too?
mmm, say no more. Assume you mean ex bro in law.
I used to go to a track in Gladesville down the back lane past where Coles shopping centre is today. It was a very popular place in its day but half the fun was working on the cars. I think that was about 100 years ago !
