Skippy could literally do anything.
The show was about a cute kangaroo but really it was about a kangaroo capable of doing anything which includes punting.
In the episode, Skippy goes horse betting and wins at the races. All those sports betting analysis working 24 hours around the clock beaten by a Kangaroo doing the occasional gambling.

The thing is, he doesn't get hooked into an addiction and decides to go save the world in the next episode.

Mark Edmondson

He entered the 1976 Australian Open ranked 212th in the world.
After beating top seed Ken Rosewall in the semifinals, Edmondson beat defending champion John Newcombe in the final in four sets, 6–7, 6–3, 7–6, 6–1.

Eddo remains the lowest-ranked player to ever win a men's Grand Slam singles title.

I'm pretty sure this was the first grand slam final I watched. It got me hooked, and I started tennis lessons the next year. 🎾❤️
