Not too unhappy

I think we did OK tonite against the comp leaders

They do have the best D going which again was on show, but we cracked them numerous times, just need to finish off. At our strongest and at our best I believe we can beat them, down our left side we were lethal, our right side seemed fragile as the last two trys against proved.

McKinnon looked better, Ayshford is very weak….not too unhappy with our forwards, they went well

yeah that about sums up my feelings too, not too unhappy

considering the injuries and player shuffling, they did ok

I think you are being hard on Ayshford. He was slippery in attack and made better defensive decisions then Benji did.

I was surprised how well he can pass the ball.

Our kicking game and lack of quality field position killed us…

Just a bit disappointed with the last 5 as it hurts the for and against but with all the injuries we had a good shot at them.

fair assessment.

the men from opsm didnt do us any favours [except for the silly pridis decsision]. How many weeks will Weyman get?

We can beat them.

I tend to agree, save for the last two tries and the complete absence of an intelligent kicking game. It never ceases to amaze me that Benji can so constantly find fullbacks and/or wingers . There's 1,750 sq metres of green space to aim at, make the opposition get down to the ball, make them work to retrieve it.

I wasn't expecting us to win, so I'm not that disappointed. However, I would have liked it if we'd actually made them earn it. They didn't do much special at all. We were more dangerous in attack but made a bunch of lazy and stupid plays that pretty much gifted the game to them. The only time they had to work was that goalline stand for about three or four sets 15 minutes from the end.

The thing is I and i think everyone else here have seen us play better.
We all know we can.
I dont think Saints can, I havent seen them play better, do they know they can?
Dont think so…come Sept same ol same ol

Pretty fair call. I just thought they were that bit better than us, right now. Benji looked out of sorts, but our forwards played well and McKinnon looks to be a very smart fullback. Missed a bit of Fifita spark off the bench, and I'll agree Ayshford didn't have a great game - and I think he is a very solid player - but overall we just weren't at their level for the full eighty. But, if we keep a team together, and keep playing with this committment in defence then we can give them a real good show in a few months time.

agree again. We can play heaps better. i dont think they can. As I said before, they are beatable

I reckon we went alright and the game showed where I think we are at.

If we get a good set of halves and if Benji plays a controlled game we can go pretty good. Robbie also needs to be in form. Apart from that selfish dumb play I think he has gotten his mojo back.

McKinnon improved heaps.

My thoughts exactly.
We've had alot of disruption due to injury and I think we've got some improvement in us.
I think that the best the dragons can play.

I'm unhappy. But more so, very dissappointed.

We were dealt with the cards we were dealt with, and yet we decide to 'fold' so to speak.

- Ayshford should have a stint back in NSW cup
- Daniella is not first grade material
- Ryan should stop chasing channel 9 contracts rather spend time actually learning how to JUMP and contest a bomb kick. He is absolutely shite both in attack and defence in this area. Tuiaki to replace him ASAP.
- and lastly, Benji. You need to spend every second of training learning how to tackle properly, it's embaressing. The spare moments you have you can also learn how to kick conversions consistently too.

It's no excuse blaming inuries and players out of position, quite frankly, our attitude let us down once again.
When Emmett knocked on at the 70th minute mark, that was our opportunity to show what we have got, but instead we simply GAVE UP…threw in the towel like a schoolboys team. It is unacceptable. Those tries at the end were pathetic and should have been stopped, we let the game get to us. We've gone through it time and time again with our mental attitude at the end of games but we still don't measure up. It is very dissapointing.

I was happy with the effort until the last few minutes, it was respectable against the competition leaders.

Conceding the last 12 points was sloppy and lazy but all in all not too bad.

Yep, all things taken into account, not a game to get too upset about. Can't really see why anybody would be anything other than a little annoyed about this result.

Great effort for 75 minutes. We'll be better for it.

Dragons did nothing tonight to make me fear them too much. I was very impressed with Boyd, and always felt like they had the discipline and kicking game to get them home. Come September, when the pressure is on, we will see mistakes. Tigers did well to make so many breaks. With decent field position, we would have given them a scare. Go tigers.
