Nothing better than beating those grubs

I Love beating a team containing the likes of Lyon, Matai, Watmough and Rose. They are grubs and you can tell there is genuine bad blood between the teams. They talked the talk this week and it was great to see them cave in, in the second stanza.

Not real sure there is that much bad blood between them, Eddie. I was watching at the end of the game and just about all players, from both sides, were laughing, hugging and talking to each other, moreso than with other teams we played this year. I think the so called bad blood is just another media beat up. That said, it was real good to beat them for sure :smiley:

Yeh, they all seemed very friendly at the end especially the no1 serial grub Matai, but as you said great to beat Manly anywhere and anytime. Last night was especially good as although the score board did not reflect it, we were on top of them for the vast majority of the game and to have their coach complaining about a forward pass is just bad form. They were beaten well and truly all over the park
