November CEO update

Just to clarify: my earlier criticism was of the November communication which I feel continues the current lack of respect for members imo.
Having said that, I think Pascoe, overall, is doing a good job. He has overseen significant improvements throughout our organisation often with a tissue thin budget I’d reckon. Really don’t get the hate for him to be honest.

Some might have 660K reasons..

Proof is in the pudding...communication was non-existent last year..it would want to improve..

@happy_tiger Maybe next time you're near the suggestion box you can suggest pizza flavoured hats, or in Geo's case meat pie flavoured.

Or we could do what most other teams do and win the games that they should win

They wouldn't like that suggestion , that would suggest accountability and expectations ....something we don't do well

@happy_tiger
Ok, so what you're saying is we can celebrate 9th in 2020 with some pizza flavoured hats. Your shout!

With our current roster and the shortcomings we have in the back row and hooker positions 9th should be a celebration imo

I'd like the updates to clearly identify what the fans need to know about.

EG,

Upcoming game promotions
Member discount benefits/incentives
Team injury status
Salary Cap status
Top 30 list
Highlights of players (based on performances) from within the lower grades so we can recover ownership of our club as a whole
Progressive ladder standings of all club teams
Representative player watch
Travel discounts for members either travelling to Sydney to see home games or travelling elsewhere to see the WT in action in away games
Board vision status for our club
Promotion of the club sponsors and how members can better support those who support us.
Reference to past players and how WT keep them in our "club family"

That would be a start!

Personally don't think we have a choice with Pascoe , at least for the short term

We just can't keep rolling upper management over again and again

Agreed @happy_tiger. A bit of stability in the front office is what is needed for at least the next year.

I don't get the heat Pascoe cops. Our off field position is as good as I can remember. The Farah stuff up lacked some due diligence if you believe he acted alone, but given the grey area about those roles, where it seems to be okay for some and not for others, and the ambiguous rules surrounding those appointments - the attempts to resolve a messy problem for the club can be put down to a harsh lesson learned. Whether the punishment fit the crime is another discussion.

Why aren’t you in charge T1?
That’s exactly what we want.

Is that you Terry Kennedy?

I do agree regarding communication. I guess you could chalk up the first half of the year to his suspension, but there was no excuse to the second half of the year. Fans are a nosy bunch, which you can expect when they spend money on the club for years without return.

I feel overall the front office is moving the right way. The Farah blunder was very much that and I gather he will have learned a very valuable lesson from that. He has overseen an about face in our financials though, and a gradual improvement in the quality of our football staff.

Hagipantelis doesn't sound like he's here to fluff about either. As an sponsor of the club he will want results.
