Not sure where to post.
For anyone interested, the Koori Knockout is back this year and will be broadcasted/televised on NITV from Sunday. I'm not sure of all the NRL players partaking in it, but have seen that JAC will be playing for Bourke Warriors.
Or Foxtel Channel 505 from 9am AEST Sunday 2/10/22.

I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo and need some advice on placement. What/where to avoid? Colour, no colour? Size? Design etc ,.
Don't wish to get it on a wrist or ankle. I was actually thinking ribs and a name or quote in small lettering.
Would love to hear any feedback from the ladies on the forum but appreciate all tips and advice.

What kind of tattoo you getting? Ribs would be quite painful to get

Pic? Or words? It will determine where it would be best. Edit how long is the quote?

Hi, I have a niece with a rib tattoo that says,
“Believe in yourself” so maybe that’s an idea for you. It’s in basic black scroll.
Cheers HB61

Thanks.
Yeah the only advice I got is don't get it in a place where the skin will sag in the future. Like that helps.
That seems to make sense as I can assure you that skin, and everything else, starts sagging over time ! I know from personal experience !!
Good luck.

Don't go chest or boobs, I reckon that looks pretty average on women... Maybe above your shoulder blade off center.. Won't hurt and won't sag too much

Even if you sag later on you can get it lasered off anyway. And also by the time you get old the ink will spread too

My ex is a cosmetic surgeon and we played around once with my tat.

Sorry Lauren but I'm not willing to undo genger altering procedures to answer so Cobar it is 🙂
I think it's all about who you want to see it.
If it's just you, you can hide it where your closes can cover it. My missus got a little heart with our names 4ever on her chest that's pretty special and noone see it because she is a private person and tatts are not encouraged in her line of work.
If you want the whole world to see it, a popular spot is the forearm or upper arm.
If it's for a lost love one, above the heart on the left chest is where I have mine of my mum. I've been told it's painful for a girl to have it on her chest ???
I think location is important because once it's on, it's on.
😎

That's great advice.Thanks.
Not typically a fan of love hearts but because I want it to have some symbolic meaning am now contemplating getting one.
Will definitely see how they look on different body parts before I decide though and start on designs.

Thanks, as I do wish to flaunt it when I can yet don't want anything too big. It's why I was learning more toward ribs as the beach is the only place I can really do this.

I saw a doco or the back end of one where in the USA they can make a replica of the tattoo as a transparent sticker/transfer and you can trial it in different positions.
I wouldn't rush into it. If it means so much to you now then the feeling, if it is the right one, is still going to be inside you in months to come.
Keep searching until you get one that you absolutely connect with and also gives you time to ascertain exactly where you want the tattoo to be on your bod. As I said, once it's there, it's always there.
Enjoy!

Never understood tattoos like that ay.
Doesn't she already believe in herself?
Or does she just dig the look?
