Now look at ourselves

Now that the smoke has settled and we've had time to bag the team, it's now time to look at ourselves.
Sure the boys have not shown up for the last couple of weeks focused and sure there has been some pretty pathetic footy on show, but I just want to say how lonely it was to be at Kogarah last night. Out of the 18750 fans there would have been lucky to have been 500 tigers fans there to support the boys.
We continually go on about how good it is for the Tigers to play in front of a packed LO but last night at Kogarah it was just a sea of red & white. The Tigers players must have been thinking we're are our suporters. At least at LO Cronulla had pockets of supporters, last night there was nothing, I felt like a shag on a rock.
We might think the boys dont go out and bust their guts for us but deap down we know they do, all we have to do is show up, sit on our arses and cheer them across the line.I don't know if we just don't like to travel but we have to do better than this and get out there and support the team.
I just hope we have a good turn out at Campbelltown next week but by the sounds of things everyone just about given up and won't support the team until we've strung together a couple of wins.

The Tigers might be thinking 'Where are our Supporters' on Monday too. It is going to be a hard sell on the back of that loss to get people to Campbelltown on a Monday night. Its alright for me, I can go to the game after work but you can understand that those with young families and work committments who were 50/50 about going to Campbelltown on Monday might now have made their mind up based on that performance last night.

I hope they get a massive crowd of Tiger fans there. I just get a feeling it may be like that Warriors game we played on a Friday night there in 2010\. On the back of a few losses there was about 5000 there.

Well done on getting there last night BAW Tiger!

Some of our supporters saw it coming, we were never going to win this game apparently - hence the poor turn out.

why would you waste good money on this lot blind faith i think not the tigers have put in three woeful efforts iam not going to waste money watching crap. hence it continues today after 20 minutes in reserve grade same effort no defence 18 -0 already just pathetic.

I wish ppl like u damo would leave the tigers and support another team!if theyre all so pathetic wot r u doing watching a lower grade game!

I was one of the 500 there lastnight as I am every week, great thread well done!

iam at all games mate i pay my way iwatch matt s ball reserves and firsts. for forty years iam allowed my opinion you have a right to be wrong.

If ur so committed then y slag all over our own players? Opposition fans don't even bag us as badly as u do!
If I agreed with u we would both be wrong!

tigerlogic, you have the option to add 'bigdamo' as Foe and you will no longer see his posts.

While Damo can be frustrating, he is welcome to provide his opinion and information.

If you disagree, I'd suggest you use the Foe option.

What a disgrace of a team, non acceptable. Two weeks in a row. Shame. And a shame for all those who want to defend them. They are my team and I will always bag them for disgracing our jersey. What a joke. Better improve and fast. And no I don't think their busting their guts.

I have to say I agree with you Black and white Tiger. I never used to miss a game, but being on my own and older I dont feel safe going anymore to away games.. I am a proud member, but only travel to Campbelltown and Leichhardt.

I wish i lived closer to sydney to get to any tigers game, i think that everyone has a choice if and when they go to a game. You can't just drop everything, life gets in the way.Good on the people who can get to most games. Every time i see the Dragons play at WIN you only ever see RED AND WHITE.Bloody DRAGONS.

Better things lay ahead. Lets face it, it doesn't get a great deal worse.

Being a Tiger or a Magpie over the years means we have all had our share of garbage football and terrible play.

The fact we are still here is what makes us different to our 'fair weather' colleague at the Eagles, Eels, Roosters, Panthers etc.

It's what I have always liked about my team.

THROUGH THICK AND THIN!!

Now, lets all get off our pedestals and get on with it. Our game is fantastic because next week we get another shot at running around in the black, white & gold. It gives me the shi** in summer when I can't watch my team run around. Now it's footy season and they are getting into it. We might be getting dished up with some rubbish at the moment but it will turn at some stage, and that's when I bust like a little kid.

I wait for our next win. Let's all get behind the club and push forward!

I think many forget what being a supporter is…
IMO it is watching your team with hope...hope that they win, make the finals, make the gf and win the gf.(the chances are 1/16 of coming up with the cash at the end of the day)

One of the most exciting things is to go to a footy match and watch your team come up with the goods when they are expected to be whipped

Good on all those supporters who got out to the game on Friday night, but in all honesty I wasn't trying to payout on the fans that didn't go to Kogarah but I am just trying to get the juices flowing so that we get a decent crowd at Campbelltown next week. I would hate to think that after two bad games we are ready to toss the towel in ( like bigdamo, god bless his kids if they fail at something ).
As I said earlier, we talk about the atmosphere at LO but at Kogarah on Friday night it was amazing, the Saints players must have felt ten feet tall. It was pure red and white and those fans did it after a poor game against the Bulldogs last week.
So we need to get out there and support the team when they need us, not like some on here who just want to jump on the bandwagon at the end of the year and shout THATS MY TEAM.

Mothermagpie,
I live in the Campbelltown area, I have the ultimate package to all the home games.
I normally only take myself and my two kids, so if you ever need a lift to CSS or LO, PM me and if I'm going I'm sure we can work something out.

i was @ the knights vs broncos game and there was a weak turnout of broncos fans too?
it happens, the locals show up cos it's local so whatevs.
