For all those people who said Lote would be slow, a waste of money and a dud buy.

There are so many better promising young juniors! Let's spend $200,000 on the promising young juniors instead!

Four (for his 4 tries in three games!) humble pies await:

on a more serious note, had Lote held to his original contract he would have been arriving in time to play next week. Would we have won these games that we had without him?
I say no

Everyone is always entitled to their opinion, but honestly, anyone who said he would be a waste of money is just an idiot.

He's played two codes at the highest level. Queensland, Australia. As if he wouldn't be a
good buy?

I'll admit I thought he would take longer to settle in and hit his stride, but he was always going to be a good buy. That's why players like him earn the big bucks.

I couldn't care what we are paying him, the big man is worth every cent and more, both on and off the field.

For years people complained we don't sign big name players so I can't believe anyone would complain when we go and sign LOTE TUQIRI! I mean seriously!!

Cut me a slice Kul but I never said he would be a waste of money or had no talent, my main gripe was the way the signing happened and he was going to start round 4 or 5 but it didnt happen they way any way. But I did nt want the tigers to sign him at the time.
Glad they did and happy to eat my pie!

He is not on the money people think he is. Not quite.

Speed is an interesting argument. The way WT work their wingers, esecially on that side, speed is not the be all and end all. His strength is great.

Loteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
:stuck_out_tongue:
Champions are just that. Class never goes away you just need to find the right team to show it all.
That team….......................WESTS TIGERS!
:sign:
I joked in a previous thread that lote is secretly cutting off 1 dreadlock per try he scores!
he will be looking like gibbs and fulton by round 14!

Dont worry Geo you're not alone. I think the shop is going to sell out.

Hopefully I will have to eat some humble pie re Tim at 7\. Last night he didnt do enough to start the cooking but it was promising.

Not wrong… ask Hayne how he felt after he bounced off him as though Lote was made of rubber lol

He's a deadset legend! How good was he when he was walking back into the tunnel with the crowd cheering Loooorrrttttttteeeeeeeee...loooooorrrrtttttttttttttteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

LOVE IT!

By the way Lote lives in Birchgrove Rd not Macquarie Ter.

he moved did he?

nice!

oh well, either way, Macquarie Terrace has that nice park in the middle to setup the pie shop regardless!

I will submit a DA on Monday. If his year keeps going like this many pies to be served both hot and cold

I had slight concerns about Lote's ability in round one given his short turnaround but that was all. 3 games in 12 days, with 4 tries in 3 matches and 3 very solid performances have proven he will cut it in the nrl. Players of his class, a dual international, never lose their touch or class.
