Now that Sheens is gone...

Does this mean that:

*The Brent Kite deal will not go on
*Lote Tuqiri won't re-sign
*Miller will get a call up
*Anasta will play lock
*Ayshford will go
*Moltzen won't be playing at fullback
*We won't pay overs for any other player
*Adam Blair will have to step up his game
*We will be a tackle side not touch footy

Sheens has left us with so many questions….

Football is easy. Pick players and sign players that add value to the team. Simple. Don't do what Sheens done and move everyone out of position. Why didn't Sheens give the clipboard to the runner and grab the water bottle off him.

Things could get better. Things could easily get much worse.

I personally don't reckon the new Coach's job is to pull it all out and start again. I'd like to see the way we play tweaked a bit… We need a fullback, we need a Prop. We need to sort out our Kicking options properly and also jump on the Wrestling Tactics bandwagon a bit more.

But more than anything the bullcrap needs to go out the window and our Club needs to focus on winning more footy games and doing it week in week out. Just take what Sheens had and do it a bit better without the Johan Cryff positional changes.

The new coach is going to have a roster that is good enough if coached well enough. That's the good news. He only needs to tinker with the squad really. Most of the ingredients for success are here. It's his job to put it together.

What we really need above all else is a structure in defence and an attitude to go with it. Fix the 'D' and everything else will fall into place nicely. Easier said than done with this mob though. Maybe Folkes is the man in the short term - 2 years or so - then a younger coach to take them from there.
