NRL 2013 FOOTY CARDS

Just interested to see if anyone has decided to relive some youth and buy some footy cards this year?

I was just buying my regular Big League & RLW then grabbed a couple packs, now i'm hooked again 😱pen_mouth:

been thinking of doing the same actually. Got my nephew into them a few years ago. Even better I made him see the errors of his fathers ways and recruited him as a Wests Tigers fan instead of the bloody roosters

As a person who has a bit of an interest in collecting NRL cards there has been a switch in the Producers of footy cards, from 2000 until last year Select were the official card manufacturers but they handed back in their entitlements allowing a newcomer in ESP to enter the playing field.
ESP have been around for awhile and have previously produced the Telegraph/Courier Mail newspaper sets but I'm yet to be convinced they make quality NRL cards in 2013, I have seen at the newsagents a pretty good deal from ESP to introduce newcomers into card collecting by having a 5 card intro set pretty cheaply.
I'm a little undecided about the 2013 ESP series and all I have so far is this seasons Tigers set…..but...........

Grab a pack when I fill up @ 7/11

Don't really collect but always seem to have a bunch laying around.
Got Koiroibete in the first pack of the 2013 ones.

Do they still come with that 5 chew and no flavour left pink gum? Jesus, im having some flashbacks to primary school days.

unless you were unfortunate enough to to discover a few chewed ones stuck under your desk. The fresh, wet ones were the worst kind.
