how come the more players we release the worst our cap becomes, 20 odd players by the end off this season AND we have signed 5 nobodys. yet we are still way over the cap, i think some one is telling porkies.

That is my take on this too, how can so many players leave in the last 2 years with hardly any coming in, and the ones in are all NSW cup players any way.

You can only release or shop around a player that another club wants, so my guess it is Marty. Lawrence has been shopped around for the past few years without to many bites,although their is talk that the dragons are now interested. Anyway its a real shame that the incompetence of our former power brokers have forced us into this corner

I don't believe it is Marty because at the moment he would be on bugger all as we signed him as a nobody, we wouldn't need to shop him around as he costs us nothing now. I believe it is Lawrence so we can free up space to re-sign Marty

Heard Dobbo say with confidence on NRL360 this week that we looked like losing someone to the Titans which in his opinion is happening to ease cap restraints. When pressed, he wouldn't go further though. Anyone heard more regarding this comment by him? Maybe Lawrence…

There are a handfull of players who this could fit. Obviously Taupau and Lawrence but these guys make stories out of reserve grade signings.

If one reserve grader signs with them he can say he was on the money.

Id be looking at Akauola, Funaki, Moltzen, Luilia, Rowe, Fine, Liovevave and the like.
