Just wait until we flog Souffs. Hell need an epi pen handy.

The two groups of journos are at war with each other. The Fox Sports lot against the others - pot shots going left right and centre. Quite amusing - sensitive lot they are.

Yep on 360 tonight Paul Crawley another hissy fit about WestsTigers.
Will someone please show that guy the door to the toilet please.

Beatenhead@gossip.com

This fool has influence and I am sick of his continued effluent that spews from his mouth. Easy to say don’t listen but people do and he has an influence. Geez I need to swear right now

He has a shot at the club near weekly on FOX, I wish one of our players or Madge would call him out. He grinds my gears worse than Buzz

Haha just listened to this, what rubbish.

I'd love to know how the club has treated them badly. Shame on us for dropping under-performing players with profile.

Did someone at the Tigers run over Paul Crawley's dog?

It was Fox Sports (his employer) who broke the story!

Neither player has been sanctioned by the Tigers. Fox is the one who keeps the story going. Here's a thought Paul, break out the crayons and try and stay inside the lines. That's about your level of capability.

In the 'fair dinkum stakes' as Paul is apt to say, is it a bridge too far to expect your two highest paid players (who can't make the starting team) stay and watch an entire game?

Funniest thing he says that we should be making more of an effort to find them a new club if we don't want them - ?

Agree 100%. Someone needs to call him out.

Anthony Griffin is a racist piece of poo.

Why ?.....

https://twitter.com/NRLBoomRookies/status/1300050050802884610

He was liking questionable content on Twitter.

He also said there is no racism in rugby league:

[**Laurie Daley’s offer to Anthony Griffin amid claim Indigenous All Stars game is too ‘politicised’**](https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/teams/dragons/nrl-2020-anthony-griffin-tweets-st-george-illawarra-dragons-laurie-daley-claims-indigenous-all-stars-game-too-politicised/news-story/a015d6377ccfed5109e20127009ad2e9)

Indigenous All Stars coach Laurie Daley has offered newly-appointed St George Illawarra Dragons coach Anthony Griffin the chance to come and speak to his team after rubbishing claims the event had become politicised.

On Monday, Griffin was given the Dragons job for the next two years. However, it came to light that Griffin had liked a series of tweets which suggested the All Stars had become too politicised.

Earlier this year, the Indigenous team opted against singing Advance Australia Fair prior to the game against the Maori.

Souths playmaker Cody Walker explained the reason for that, saying: “It just brings back so many memories of what’s happened (in Australia’s past). It doesn’t represent myself and my family.”

Griffin was questioned about those tweets in the Sydney Morning Heraldthis weekend and in response he said: “I don’t think there is racism in rugby league. In all my years involved in the game at all levels, I’ve never come across it. I’m a strong believer of the indigenous [All Stars] game. But I feel it has been politicised.”

Speaking on the Big Sports Breakfast, Daley was asked if the Indigenous All Stars game had become politicised.

The Canberra legend said: “I have some strong views actually.

“I don’t see it being politicised and obviously he might be talking about the fact that there was no national anthem played before that game last year.

“That was a decision based on the senior playing group and the Indigenous Council which I am a part of supported that.

“I think it’s a great way to celebrate rugby league and what all Indigenous players have done for our game … but also to continue to inspire and talk about inclusiveness, to talk to young Indigenous people with the youth summits speak to these young kids at.

“They talk about nutrition, going to school and getting a good education.

“They talk about the fact of being proud of who you are and let’s all be Australians.

“Let’s not be divisive. They talk a lot of good things throughout the week and they’re trying to teach young kids in Indigenous communities and remote communities that they can be different to the norm.

“They can get an education, say no to alcohol and drugs, be leaders, and make positive change, that’s the bigger picture and what this game is about.

“It’s about making an impact and making a difference in the community.”

Daley said that Griffin would perhaps have a better understanding of why the game meant so much to the sport’s Indigenous players if he came to visit one of their camps.

“I can’t speak for them, but I’d certainly want to know his reasoning behind it [the tweets],” Daley added.

“And I think like most people if they actually sit down with the players and get a greater understanding of how they feel about how their culture, they get a greater understanding of what it means to them to be a part of it and to contribute to society and in their own communities.

“That’s sometimes what we lack, we lack knowledge about what it means and how we can make a difference and bring people together. That’s what it’s all about that week.”

Gus to say he has been targeted for 30 years is laughable as he has white anted anyone who showed they could coach the team or club he was involved in.

Say what you like about Gus, to me he seems an egomaniac, but he was the biggest voice against News Corp and Super League back when that was going, and he's copped huge heat from News corp ever since. I used to love his anti-super league articles, really was defending the soul of the game. Don't like him anymore.

Paul Crawley is a loser. Simple as that.

Has some agenda against our club and has been given a soap box to sprout his rubbish.

Dead set the worst NRL jounralist.

Can't believe what I've just heard from Paul Crawley. Fox Sports were the one's who broke out the news of Packer and Reynolds walking out at half-time, while Madge and the Tigers tried to downplay it. They continued on with the stories and blew it way out of proportion, and now it's apparently the Tigers who are mistreating the players?

As Willow rightly pointed out the Telegraph have an agenda towards this club. We as a club continually ignore them and feed our stories and leads to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Crawley and Rothfield are going hard as they cant accept they have been called out for their rubbish by a club who cant make the 8.

its pure politics. Wake up Australia.

Boycott the Daily Telegraph if you are truly a Wests Tigers supporter
