He reminds me of the times Waterhouse used to be promoting bettings odd on the footy broadcast. A complete fish out of water. It is clear the bloke is not knowledgeable about league. He drifts way too much into gossip and he's steered James Graham into a style of show he's not adept at. He may be okay as a producer but he shouldn't be on the mic and he needs to be teamed up with someone different for the podcast.

The issue I have is he condescends people who actually have skin in the game and have unique opinions , just so he can regurgitate nrl group think .
If at any time you’re in agreement with David Ricchio on anything , you need to have a hard look at yourself . Because that guy is a worm of a bloke . Definition of pea heart . As soon as anyone applied the blowtorch to him he goes to water . Zero integrity . He’s everyone’s mate , sure , but that’s because they all see him for what he is . A massive soft cock.
And james graham …. That guy should be put on the next boat back to England . Seriously ! Whoever decided that guy will be on our broadcasts for the foreseeable future needs a bullet .
Everything he says , is completely wrapped in agenda and self interest . And once again as soon as someone calls him out on it … he pisses and moans.
The only nrl media I enjoy is the levels guys , the tigers media and I actually like Braith anasta . ( crazy to say that . I hated the guy as a player and a human until he got his podcast ) . Even the bloke in the bar guys … they profess to be nrl intellects , but they get I reckon 80% of their facts wrong .
The only things they get right are the broncos stuff .
I can handle having different opinions , but when it based on lies and deception and half truths it shits me .

There aren’t many commentators that I like, because that’s exactly what they are. They aren’t journalists, they’re just ex-players with an opinion, trying to hold onto a job in the media.

However, I did like the Off The Record podcast with Buzz and Webby. Whilst it finished last year with Buzz’s retirement, their insights and old player and coach stories were great.

Andrew Webster is a highly respected journalist, having worked for the Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph and The Australian.

Love him or loathe him, Buzz had a 50-year career at The Daily Telegraph and broke some huge stories over the years.

If I had to pick one commentator that I find it difficult to listen to, it would have to be Aaron Woods.

I don’t hate buzz , as he got closer towards retirement , you actually got his real opinions on things . And not Paul Kent nrl hysteria talking points .
Since that since Paul Keunt has left 360 it’s actually far less media hysteria and sensationalism . It’s still has the talking points but it’s way less old man yelling at clouds . Although when Ritchie comes on … it’s basically unwatchable .

High level executives at MMM. I don’t know . It’s been mentioned on a podcast . And yes he’s constantly bitching about how Benji dogged him . I’d dog him as well . He’s another Ricchio type pencil neck who’s these egotistical douchebags like james graham want around because he doesn’t challenge them .
If you have even a modicum of humility you’d see the guy for what he is . I’m assuming that’s exactly why Benji has brushed him

I dont hear him much but Slater is interesting to listen to...gives a good insight into the game...breaks it down and provides interesting and often overlooked ( to me at least) views on a topic
Cronk on M&C is good value also...but his live commentary is often just stating the obvious.

Many have mentioned sugar caine, i dont mind him from a betting perspective and i can handle.jimmy smith either way.

I may listen to a pod at the gym but rarely make it thru the whole thing tgheyre all too long...but not at home.
In the car the radio is on SEN or MMM but dont listen to much of that either othern than when driving somewhere

I do a lot of driving so I’m always looking for content . MMM used to be much better when there were multiple hosts . Now it’s this F-wit on everything . He’s gone from an anecdotal guest whilst he turns the knobs and produces to the main attraction . Unlistenable

No . MMM used to be nuanced and have multiple hosts across their shows . Now it’s this douchebag on everything and I can’t stand the bloke .
It’s the same reason I Don’t listen to Sunday mmm or Monday as well . And I used to like the Monday show when it was Adam peacock . Nothing to do with the tigers
