Of course it's way too early, but I never bought into the Titans hype. That first performance was awful.

In saying that, Nathan Brown had the Warriors playing to their strengths - I really think they're in for a good season. Their halves just need to deliver.

Yep . They have no halves and lack creativity . They look like us during the Cleary years and even down to Corey Thompson being the best in the jersey .
Anyone who said “ it was the manly 3rd team “ wasn’t looking at their forward pack, and where the game was dominated . They only missed Jake T , and their forwards were belted . Basically same as today . And their backs have some bad defensive structures .

It's only half time but I expected Easts to flog Manly.

There were too many excuses for Manly after our trial; they didn't play their best players; blah, blah. But there was no hiding their defence - it was pathetic.

In any event, I suppose the media will play this as a wonderful performance by the Roosters, rather an inept performance by Manly.

Manly look to be in for a long season. Pretty amusing when you read Aloiai talking about moving to Manly to play semi final football. Playing for the spoon more like it.

Definitely - wow I'd hate to see his brain scan. He's on par with Cordner for head knocks.

I don't want to discount how tough he is, but he doesn't know how to tackle.

Smaller halves/hookers need to stay classic and tackle around the legs. Let the big boys do the gritty work over the top.
