South's are done. Letting Reynolds go and not sorting their forward pack out has bitten then on the ass.

Back row is great. Just think the South's front rowers arnt up to a top 8 side. Cook isn't what he used to be. They miss Murray badly as well.

Miller and Dykes are both very good players. I read Sheens was interested in Miller but I doubt if the Sharks can keep both which will be good for us.

Lachie Miller a former olympian in R union who scored on debut today reminded me of those other Olympians.

There have been two other memorable appearances of former olympians in Australian team sport.

Darren Clark who played as a winger for Balmain Tigers who still holds the Aust. record for the sprint, 300m (31.88) and 400m (44.38)

Clark made an instant impact with the Tigers, but could never quite back it up.

He scored with his first touch in a trial match, but tore a calf muscle in the process.


And the greatest sprinter of all time, Usain Bolt (8 Olympic golds and 11 World Championship golds).

In 2018 he joined with A-League side Central Coast Mariners in pursuit of becoming a professional footballer, and spent two months with the club in a spectacle that gained worldwide attention.
