Brandon Smith is facing a fortnight ban over shoulder charge.
'The cheese' is phenomenal to watch, would love him at the Tigers any day of the week.

Is he any chance ? I know he wants to go to south east Queensland . The cheese talk has gone real quiet

He's extending as Bellamy has committed. Smith is contracted until end of 2022, Storm are happy to release him only if they can secure a player of similar quality in a swap deal.
There's an article been surfaced regarding "Smith reveals secret meeting with Barrett" so what does that tell you..

That Barrett is trying to pay overs to save his job , as he’s a bad head coach .

He has a far better strike rate at signing good players than Madge does, JAC, Burton, Naden 3 players we could really use, and if he lands the Cheese as well, makes our recruitment look embarrassing once again

Cool none of them are forwards , and they can’t get over halfway . Or tackle .

What about Flanagan, Cotric, Corey Allan and that angry forward who gets suspended every 2 games?

Dylan Brown facing 4 weeks for kneeing Hutchinson. Niukore facing 2-3 weeks for shoulder charge on Teddy

Cleary / Luai combo reminds me so much of Prince / Marshall in 05

Cleary the conductor and Luai the magician

Nothing that a stiff coat hanger couldn’t fix .

That would be magic.

That decision by the Bunker not to act on the knees in the back by Brown just shows what a farce our great game has become just reported that Hutchinson has broken ribs and a puncutered lung who ever is the bunker should be dropped for life

Bunker officials from Parra v Rorters stood down from further matches this weekend.Should be interesting press conference from Mr Analey on Monday especially after the controlled spray by Robbo

Agree. The bunker only really works and adds value if they pick up things that the on-field officials miss. These type of errors make you wonder if is worth the effort of having the bunker. There is no excuse for these 2 misses. Both bad looks for players doing it and outcomes for the players hit by them. The bunker system is under pressure with inconsistency and blatant missed actions, and Im not sure the NRL can fix it. Not that the referees and sideline officials are any better...............

Steve Chiddy was sacked from all Bunker duties this round.

I looked at the shoulder charge as well, definitely deserved more action than it got.

However, guys like Tedesco/To'o and even Noffa have a bad habbit of ducking into tackles. I've been saying this for years, AFL has a rule that if you duck into tackles, the penalty is against you. I'd love a rule change to address that, although I don't know what change you would bring.

Players these days will readily put their head in that position to get a penalty IMO..

Meanwhile Chitty gets "axed" which is NRL speak for the weekend off, presumably on full pay, to return next week for nothing to change. If this happened to us and not the Rorters ... oh wait, what did the Bunker do when Latrine went postal against us this year and last year?

Does anyone else get annoyed when you hear Checcin yell Last tackle fella’s

How's someone not been sinbinned? The knees into Hutchinson and the shoulder to Tedesco's head

Always a harsh call with a shoulder charge on Tedesco as he’s always falling or crouched

Knees in the back another story

Maybe an excuse a few years ago. Not anymore.

So whats the defender supposed to do when Tedesco is falling or crouching?
Just vanish into thin air ?

It’ll all be sorted in the match review anyway..

Play on .

Have to agree with that.

Some of these reckless/careless charges are a bit harsh when someone is ducking or falling unless it's a deliberate stiff arm/coat hanger attempt.

Same with the crusher tackles when they turn their back on the defender and put themselves in a dangerous postion to try and do an off load or gain some sort of attacking advantage. Surely they have to take some sort of responsibility for their own safety or well being, especially when they should be fully aware of the risks.

Deliverance ....

Honestly though it should be open season on Dylan Brown from the other 15 clubs ...that was some low crap .....

I hate teh Roosters ...but you have to respect the buggers

That was a toilet level play by Brown.

Anything but a shoulder charge. They are outlawed because they can go ugly very easily. Like this one.

Plus she plays for Parra, life!!!

I tipped parra
Play on .

Tedesco falling ..
The defender is 10cm away ..
Go take up lawn bowls ?

Don't bag bowling , just about the only sport you can drink piss while playing.

Ever heard of Golf..

Golf, darts, snooker, cards, archery, shooting...all sports you can play on the piss ?

Don't forget wood-chopping.

Fishing - now theres a great sport - sit on your butt and suck booze all day.

Or watching Wests Tigers play and get pissed off your brain to drown your sorrows.

Anyway, off to Cambo to watch the game.

Trent Robinson calling out the ridiculous new rules and bunker in his press conference.

Don't blame him.... They keep mucking around with the rules and shoot themselves in the foot when unforeseen circumstances arise.
The bunker is useless... It's onlt there for next weeks opponents

Just watched his presser and I’m surprised he was able to remain so calm about it all, he called it out but didn’t lose control. Blunt and direct. The Hutchinson one was especially ridiculous, did someone at home have to call them to take action?

Oooooh
Did something not go his way
Didums
Slipping down the ladder and can't handle it
He is very quiet we things go his way all the time or they get favourable calls
A team full of Australian and origin stars ?
Exemption to play Suaalii ?
Third party " Sombrero payments " ?
Unlimited Cap ☺
Get a bad call for once ?????????

Did you see the incidents?

No and I didn't need to
That was not my point
My point was a team like the Roosters getting a bad rub of the green for once
It's usually the bottom teams that get the bad calls
Maybe if the top teams get bad calls and get peed off something might get done about the incompetence of our officiators
Decisions have favoured the top teams for years
All I wish for is an even playing field

I hate the roosters but damn parra are protected. Should have had 1 in the bin and 1 sent last night. Ridiculous officiating. They banned the shoulder charge for a reason and that shot on teddy was textbook. I don't know how teddy stayed on

We possibly beat Souths, if the bunker did there job?

Mongrels
