Funny the match report on the nrl app reads "fifita stars in trial loss".

We are so flying under the radar this year!!

The scary thing is David Fafita played exactly the same style of game in NSW Cup.
Not looking forward to facing off against the 2 of them in first grade

Grant Mayer has confirmed that there are no injuries in tonight's game.

@gcmayer: Injury free night is always good. Fan and junior rego day tomorrow. Will be a good vibe at both CSS and concord. Come and join @Wests_Tigers

So the Farah injury rumer is false

I wanna see how our forwards went!

PL

Forwards went really well.
Tapow And Gavet hit the line hard as well as hit the player hard.
Blair looks bigger and ran the ball up well.
We finally have some competition for position in the forwards. Something we have had in a long time
In the backs, Lawrence looks faster, Richards was kicking them from the sidelines and Tedesco is in for a big year. Was very involved.
The penalties was the only negative, but at least we got to see our goal line defence in action and it held up. The amount of ball the Sharks had they should have been ahead by twenty at half time.
At 28 - 10 a lot of NSW cup players came on which helped the score line look better for the sharks.
Over all, a good show by the boys

Sounds like Buchanan made an impact when he was on too?

PL

Yes, to be honest it was a good all round effort from the whole team.
Just on Buchanan, he looks to have put a fair bit of size on as well.

Both have freakish skills for sure. It might be a big call but I know that Taupau and Gavet both possess similar skills and definitely have that potential.

My hope/dream is that we might see some of that this year.

Do you recall if the penalties were ruck penalties, were we struggling with the opposition forwards…were we bending their line?

Half the penalties were from Blair niggling in the ruck. We bent their line though Ink, much more direct without Benji and we had a simple, but effective structure for the most part.
