The Wests Tigers Life pod about this team was a fascinating listen. Adel Hage always tell it how it is and he didn't hold back. Except for when Kelly Hollis gave her opinion about the girls a couple years back, I'd not heard any decent commentary on the team.

Unfortunately it’s looking like another spoon for the girls. Probably the weakest roster in the comp.

Listened to coach Adel’s assessment of this years squad on Wests Tigers Life …. Wouldn’t say it’s been confidence building 😑

Really? There’s a couple of brand new teams joining this season, surely we’re better than them?

That sucks, why aren’t we attracting good players? We have the NSW captain.

According to Adel Hage …they have made some poor decisions on players that have been released or allowed to leave by the club, and the new players they have signed were not wanted by other clubs…
He was also critical of the clubs treatment of Losuna Lutu who he thinks is one of the best players in the comp ..but seems unwanted by the current coaching staff and won’t get given much of a go looks like
That is absurd if you are right because she is a very talented player
God going down the road as the men’s team. Will we ever learn!

Yes, I can hear that too.
But I still like the inside goss and try to subtract his issue with the club.

We recently released Natasha Penitani to the Titans on compassionate grounds and in true Tigers fashion we didn’t get anything in return. Natasha was one of our better players last year. We replaced her with a girl who didn’t have an nrlw club. We have lost some outstanding talent and replaced them with lesser talented players (no disrespect intended just honest). I have watched a few training sessions as they train next to my daughters hockey and I would of thought having an ex origin, premiership winning player in Brett Kimmorley that the standard of training would be better but I was very underwhelmed by it. It seemed very sub standard. I hope I am wrong but we lack the talent and the coaching to win many games. The salary cap and what the players earn outside of that is a little different to how the mens work and we simply can’t compete with most clubs for what they pay outside of cap payments. Adel explains it in the podcast. I hope I am wrong but the outlook is bleak. I don’t have any inside info just my observations
