I forget where were up to with this topic but if this transwoman is approved to play in the NRLW comp. next season, then i'm certain that one day they will find themselves in the courts and try to defend their hastily made reckless player safety policies.
If a serious injury occurs as a result of a tackle or a collision between a woman and a transwoman (born as male) it sure will have serious consequences for the NRL.
The injured woman won't be thinking it is unfortunate sometimes these injuries happen in a contact sport, but the injured woman will be thinking my injury was a direct result of a collision/tackle with the transwoman (male).

Transgender women swimmers barred from female competitions by Fina
"Swimming’s world governing body, Fina, has voted to bar transgender women from elite female competitions if they have experienced any part of male puberty, in a seismic decision that sets it apart from most Olympic sports.
The decision, decided by 71% of the vote of 152 national federations at the world championships in Budapest, followed a report from a Fina scientific panel which found that trans women retained a significant advantage over cisgender female swimmers even after reducing their testosterone levels through medication."

I'm certain that those policymakers at the NRL are aware of this news, let's see what they learn and how they respond to this very important decision.
