**WENTWORTHVILLE v WESTERN SUBURBS GAME PREVIEW**

Western Suburbs have been dealt a blow with the loss of hard running front-rower Daine Laurie after he was stood down by the Wests Tigers club yesterday. The loss in the forward pack is sure to hurt Leo Epifania’s men whose 64-4 thrashing of the Central Coast last weekend sent shockwaves throughout the final series.

Wentworthville return to full strength with the return of Justin Horo and Broderick Wright to the starting side while 2009 Bundaberg Red premiership winger Ken Sio also makes his return.

For Western Suburbs, an injury Sam Hoare has forced a reshuffle in the halves with Wayde Dunley moving to hooker, Charlie Herekotukutuku slotting in at five-eighth and Justin Coveney taking Herekotukutuku’s vacant wing spot. The two team’s preparations couldn’t be more different. Wentworthville fought out a hard slog against Balmain last weekend and have been boosted by some big inclusions while Western Suburbs are coming off an easy victory and have been weakened by some injuries and withdrawals.

The winner of this one will face the highly fancied Bankstown City Bulls side in next weekend’s preliminary finals.

**CENTRAL COAST v BALMAIN RYDE GAME PREVIEW**

Like Wentworthville, Balmain Ryde has returned to full strength with players returning from either injury or NRL duties. The Balmain Ryde forward pack proved last weekend they can match it with the best with their gritty 32-26 defeat of Wentworthville at Ringrose Park. The backrow of Dean Webster, Willie Mataka and Jared Farlow worked tirelessly while fullback Sean Meaney was equally impressive at the back.

The Central Coast are expected to have a few late inclusions courtesy of their partnership with the Melbourne Storm. Joseph Tomane and Hep Cahill both made the journey to Morrie Breen last weekend and with Melbourne having the week off a few players will most likely be sent up to keep up their match fitness. The battle of the half-backs in this one will be worth the price of admission. Josh Lewis and James Maloney have been arguably the two best performed half-backs in the 2009 NSW Cup and both posses lethal kicking games coupled with astute vision in attack.

The winner of this will face the North Sydney Bears in next weekend’s preliminary finals.

Yeah , look under nsw cup and then teams and you get all teams listings and a little preview.

It's my way of trying to help the promote the profile of the NSW Cup. I emailed the Vig Spoets breakfast and talkin Sport this week and they both spoke about the double header….I really can't believe the ARL on how slack they are on promote a full sunny Sunday arvo of footy at LO and nothing said :brick:

Trying to listen to it now but its just 2 idiots talking about the party they went to on the weekend and playing music. No sign of footy at all.

I agree, that's poor form, but the nswrl.com.au does have live score updates though…

Really poor effort for the NSWRL to advertise it on their site and then not actually have it broadcast.

Wenthworthville 26 - Wests 16 full time

it's a joke the NSWRL couldn't organize anything….my blind mate at the game is very pervex that he can't find the live call
