Liddle and Simpkin are like for like. Neither is the problem in a losing side.

Yeah I’ve heard people say this over and over again all year. Think people are judging him on past performance and not what he is putting in currently. IMO, he deserves a crack on the wing over Talau - who has shown nothing so far this year.

Cini to me has all the signs of the sort of bloke another club is going to nab and give a debut to and he'll go real good. He's off contract and I am surprised he hasn't got a 2022 contract yet.

Cini, madden, Liddle, Mikaele and Amone will all be pushing hard for first grade. I don't know what else Cini has to do, been the best player in NSW cup this season. Liddle needs to play the bench 14.
Amone and Mikaele will be in our 17 next week. Musgrove and Seyfarth dropping back. Cini for Talau who needs a long spell NSW cup.
On Form Roberts, Nof, Talau, Mck are all not up to Nrl standard, can't drop them all yet though. Two will keep their spots, probably nof and Roberts. Mbye and Roberts in the centres with Cini and Nof on the wings. Worth a shot

Cooper hasn't been impressive at all. He's a Robert Jennings or Keith Leilua of NSW cup. Dives over in the corner, but is slow, can't beat a man and is just a plodder really. He's been solid sure, but on the back end of some good moves and doesn't have to do anything. Took a very obvious intercept. All he's doing is blocking the pathway of a junior. Can't see him as a centre either. He's just an average NSW Cup player....

Cini is promising, dominating at this level, we have to be careful - he could be our next Papenhuyzen!

Cooper is much better than AJ or Talau.

Talau could well lose his 1st grade spot tomorrow.

Very good positional player can hear his hits from the back of the stand. Underrated IMO.

Crazy thought on my part but i hope Madge doesn't promote a lot of the magpies into first grade yet. Hear us out, while the 1st grade squad flounders, which is very infuriating but likely to go on at this point, our reserve grade team is humming.

Cohesion, bullet passes, trust in each other, drive to not only get a try in front but 5 tries in front and not even stop then. Sign the best of them on 2 year contracts and let them develop their game and confidence without burning them out from the pressure of first grade. Which like many before them causes them to assimilate into the frankly abysmal attitude Wests have been synonymous with for ages.

Then back end of the season, should the firsts team be under pretty much no pressure, bring in the best of the Magpies on mass in the positions which need urgent attention. Madden for Brooks (breaks my heart but he's just not cutting it), Tuki Simpkins, Fitzgibbon, Cooper, Cini, Rogers-Smith, Tuilagi. A massive transfusion of players who want to win and an instant culture change. Bringing them in now they'll just be absorbed into the mediocrity after another 20 rounds of what we've been dishing up.

Nah. Literally anyone could have scored the tries he has. Diving over untouched in the further. If Kepaoa scored those tries in NSW cup no one would be impressed. Do you seriously think that the answer to our slow and one dimensional attack in the nrl is to promote slow and one dimensional players from NSW Cup?

As Robert Jennings showed, anyone can dive over if you're on the end of a successful backline.
