NSW Team...well mine anyway

Alot has been talked about so I am thinking of what Ricky, Laurie, others and myself want :slight_smile: it's just my thoughts. We need a team that can attack not just defend:

1) Hayne (Duggan if fit)
2) Uate
3) Jennings/Lawrence
4) Morris/Idris
5) Morris
6) Carney
7) Pearce/Mullen
8) Gallen
9) Buderus (Farah back up)
10) Snowdan
11) Lewis
12) Williams/Watmough/Creagh
13) Scott

14) Sims
15) Idris
16) Mateo
17) Watmough/Creagh/Hunt/

18) Galloway/Mullen/Lawrence/Farah

I may have missed a few

Jarrod Mullen (Pearce has a very good combination with Carney, although I am keen to see how Mullen/Carney link up tomorrow)
Gidley (Hinchcliffe for me has more use if their is no injuries)

I am not going to pick a NSW side as I think it is an impossible task due to poor form and injuries.

What I will say though is that the following players must not be considered if the Blues hope to even win a single game this series:

Ennis - 1st one sacked for mine. He has shown very close to zero in his many undeserved appearances so far. Has no heart and very average skills.

Creagh - Not good enough at this level. Great at picking out average defenders at NRL level but is ineffective when playing sides that can muscle up.

Scott - Tough nut but average player at rep level.

King - Useless at rep level. Lazy and un involved.

Pearce - Useless at rep level. If he was a Queenslander he would at least 5th choice for halfback.

Soward - Has totally the wrong game for this contest. Is a massive liability in defence and pretty much a pussy all round.

Bird - Good player and tough bastard but far too many errors and dog plays in his repotiore.

Buderus - Too slow and uncreative. Has been involved in far too many lost series to be a saviour.

Ok so I would rub these guys all out for a start. The side must contain:

Gallen
Hayne
Uate
Carney
Lewis
Watmough
Williams
Sims
Mateo
Tamou.

The other 7 positions should be selected based purely on THIS YEARS FORM.

Danny buderuses stats have been preety poor this year Robbie farrah has been much better than him he is an 80min player and a better defender and has better ball skills. The only reason Danny will get picked is because he has been there before. Not on form

Its not what you know, but who you suck up too.

In the fair dinkum stakes, Farah would be hooker hands down, Creagh wouldn't get a start, Tamou - Who? - never heard of him 3 weeks ago!, Bird old and a has been, Hayne in poor form/injured, Weyman the worlds biggest sook, Buderus - Well a great player but well well past it.

But true to form ,you will see the tried and tested and FAILED players picked….again.

Try living in Qld and watching crap teams selected yet again, knowing we could win but choose garbage.
