Really? There were only 3 new players from Keebra playing yesterday. Alofi, Martin and Liolevave. The latter two have future star written all over them and deserve a chance to show their wares on this stage. The likes of Seve, Masila, Heleta and Iroa all weren't playing for one reason or another.
So it actually pretty much was a team of local players. Which would suggest you are wrong.
Hoeter did come from Keebra but played last season and was one of the teams best players and made the WT 9's squad. Don't think he's a problem. Similar for Graham, one of the only decent props in the squad. Ogden was apparently also from Keebra, he could be the one player who shouldn't have been out there, although again he's been with the club for more than a season now so we should know whether he's up to it or not..
Farrell should be in the 17 somewhere you'd think though. But the coach should most definitely be able to pick whichever players he wants. We've never been forced to play Keebra boys, maybe just a bitter parent of a local boy who missed out complaining?
