NYC Live Game Thread vs Eels Round 3.

it appears another grand final triumph is on the cards in 2013, great attack, plenty of points and the best defender in the competition in Santi. Keep it up boys, always a pleasure cheering you on!

Santi is a Fulton clone, I was amazed at the work he got through and runs similar lines in attack to Fulton. Brooks I thought was great, had the game on string, controlled the pace of the game. Also the no4 looked very good with the ball in attack.

They are a very good side and Todds developed defensive structures that are more like the NRL than any other u20 outfit. Like all young sides they will have their off days but hard not to see them causing havoc at the back end of the year

Correct regarding Santi, his work ethic is unbelievable, tackles and hit ups and keeps going unlike like some nrl players that have a hit up and put there hands on there hips for the next ten minutes, tony williams is prime example of that…... Brooks controlled the game well and knew what was needed . At times I prefer watching the 20s more so then first grade, they have more passion and hunger

I much prefer watching these young guys coming through then first grade, they have more hunger and passion then first grade, with an ageing first grade pack, which of our 20s are on the brink of cracking firsts in 2013, I think there is 4 or 5 that will definitely get game time…....... Sironen , Lovett and Santi all experienced and have mature heads on there shoulders leaps and bounds above the 19 and 20 years of age they are. Black and orange forever

i agree ,santi is a tackling machine, gets through a ton of work, was good to david noufalouma get involved, was very hard to stop each time he touched the ball.cant wait to see these guys get achance in the top grade.lets go tigers back to back premierships

The only two guys having a real dig in first grade are Koribete and Miller, both who were apart of us last year, throw in first grade Sironen, Noufalouma , Santi and Lovett, we will have one of the youngest up and coming NRL clubs to be a force for the next decade whilst all the other clubs are ageing and poaching other clubs players, our future is sitting in our own backyard, the next ten years at Leichardt, Campbelltown and abroard on away trips are looking very very good with the young product we have devoloped, Todd Payten has done a tremendous job and will not be surprised to see him leading first gradein a couple of years…............... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Further to my comment above, it will be great for Todd to coach first grade, as he will know the players superior then any other as the first grade squad in 2 or 3 years time will be built vastly around the under 20s premiership team from 2012…................. Im making my new flag for the game as we speak!!!

I think Santi is a more complete player than Fulton, carries the ball a bit better he is growing into a decent frame he has a Fulton like work rate but will play a very different role in the nrl when he gets there he will play in the middle.
Lovett is clearly a first grader in the making as well.
