NYC Live Game Thread

29 minutes gone and the Panthers lead 4-0\. Tigers have made 7 errors to the Panthers 4 but the Panthers have missed more tackles.

Halftime and it's 4-0 to the Panthers in a close, scrappy game from the sounds of it. Metres made favor the Tigers noticeably, but the Tigers have coughed the ball up 10 times which is a concern.

Giant Fijian Taqele Naiyaravaro is playing in the centres and has made over 100 metres in the first half so he's obviously proving a handful.

Second half underway and the Panthers now up 10-0 after 44 minutes. Tigers seemingly unable to cross the tryline.

Tigers finally on the board through Mosese Fotuaika. Simona converted so it's 10-6 after 48 minutes.

Panthers just extended their lead to 14-6 after 52 minutes with a kick to come.

Geez this team really needs to get it together, they were on fire there for a while and are now endanger of missing the finals all together. This should have been an easy win considering that Penrith are missing both their regular halves.

That would be the Fijian I assume. He's made close to 200 metres in attack so far but the Tigers are running out of time. 15 to go and they're down 16-6 despite making 6 linebreaks.

The stats suggest the Tigers should be up by heaps and instead their behind by 10\. Their finishing must be lacking.

7-4 Linebreaks
8-20 Missed Tackles
1000-900 Run Metres

And it looks like Taqele just made ANOTHER break that wasn't finished if I'm reading the stats right.

14 runs for 226 metres 7 tackle breaks 1 offload and 3 linebreaks - Why has he been playing for Wests all year? Get him into first grade he seems better than Koroibete!

Wondering why he hasn't been given a go yet either. I suspect coming over from Fiji along with Koroibete he has a lot to learn about the game, but geez his stats today have been impressive and if he continues to improve (bearing in mind he's only 19), he could be anything in a few years.

geeze, those are some pretty darn good stats

Game over. Panthers in again to lead 20-6 with 5 minutes remaining. Tigers could very well fall out of the 8 the way they're playing at the moment.

this side is rubbish wont be anywhere near semis awful alround again have not played a good game for months start planning for next year
