NYC Profiles Updated

Noticed that these have now been updated, surprised that Daniel Rakvin, Mania Rudolph and Mason Farrell are missing. Rakvin and Farrell were 2 of the best players in the SG Ball Grand Final, I know that Farrell is injured currently but would be surprised if they weren't in the squad considering both are contracted. Rudolph was one of the best in the Canterbury trial a couple of weeks ago, surprised that he isn't there.
Does anyone know if the 34 players profiled are the final squad or are there others missing from it as well.

I guess the list may change after the next two trials Scorcher. I was a little worried the Tigers may lack size in the front row again, but Paul Fangaloka, Richard Ene are big units who should back Nathan Brown up well.

I thought size wise we looked bigger than the doggies, I know both teams had their triallists in this game but we look OK in the size department. Here is a rundown of the 34 players listed on the official Wests Tigers website as at 15 February 2013:

Luke Bonnell - 180cm, 80kg, hooker/halfback, Campbelltown junior from St Gregs with a high defensive workrate.

Luke Brooks - 179cm, 87kg, halfback (Aust. Schoolboys), Balmain junior who may see more State Cup this year than NYC and could get a run in FG later in the season if my prediction proves true.

Nathan Brown - 185cm, 107kg, front row, member of last year's grand final winning NYC team, Balmain junior with a good motor and gets over the advantage line. Spent part of pre-season training with the FG squad.

Manaia Cherrington - 182cm, 78kg, hooker/fullback, stepping up to NYC from Balmain's SG Ball team which took out the comp last year and defeated the Qld finalists comfortably also. Spent part of the pre-season training with FG. One to watch.

Max Dimarco - 178cm, 84kg, wing, quick and elusive, stepping up from Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year.

Jake Dooner - 190cm, 93kg, prop, Camden (group 6) junior and played in Wests SG Ball side from last year.

Richard Ene - 189cm, 119kg, prop, massive unit from Keebra Park. Shouldn't be hard to spot out on the field 😱pen_mouth:

Matt Fairhurst - 192cm, 98kg, second row, Queensland junior from Ipswich making the move down to Sydney.

Paula Fangaloka - 193cm, 112kg, prop/second row, kiwi junior who could be one to watch.

Andy Fiagatusa - 182cm, 90kg, second row/lock. Member from last year's NYC side and a Wests junior.

Francis Fifita - 194cm, 100kg, second row, Kiwi junior also making the move down from Keebra Park. Big strong edge runner and no relation to Andrew Fifita.

Dallas Graham - 189cm, 102kg, prop/second row, another weapon from Keebra Park.

Harry Grove - 184cm, 75kg, wing/fullback, very quick and a good finisher. Comes from Tumut but came through St Gregs Campbelltown.

Delouise Hoeter - 180cm, 85kg, fullback/centre/wing, kiwi junior and another product from Keebra Park.

Billy Kitt - 174cm, 82kg, halfback/five eighth, a Wests junior with a good kicking and organising game.

Shane Lalogafau - 190cm, 110kg, utility/second row, strong running edge second rower and a Campbelltown junior.

Nofoa Leapai - 175cm, 88kg, hooker, quick out of dummyhalf, solid defender and another talent from Keebra Park.

Leva Li - 190cm, 94kg, centre, another member from Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year. Powerfully built, should be one to look out for.

Maile Li - 185cm, 80kg, fullback/wing, twin brother of Leva and played in Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year.

Kyle Lovett - 184cm, 100kg, second row, Captain of this year's NYC team and a regular in last year's squad. Good solid backrower with a high workrate. Spent part of pre-season training with FG.

James Luff - 17cm, 88kg, hooker, had limited opportunities in last year's NYC side but looking to make more of an impression this year.

Jack Madden - 184cm, 84kg, halfback, Qld junior in his second year with the Wests Tigers.

Nathan Milone - 182cm, 84kg, centre, part of Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year and unlucky not to make the Australian Schoolboy squad. Good on his feet with good defence.

Mitchell Moses - 182cm, 75kg, five eighth/fullback, part of Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year and and Australain Schoolboy who tore England to shreds. Newphew of Benny Elias and won SG Ball player of the year. Spent pre-season training with FG and still recovering from a broken leg suffered late last year. Keep an eye on him when he returns, he'll dominate.

Matt Mulcahy - 178cm, 72kg, five eighth. Last year's hero of the Wests Tigers NYC winning squad. Scored a double in the grand final and has excellent speed. He'll have some competition to hold his spot though.

John Ogden - 189cm, 98kg, wing/centre, powerfully built and another one to watch from Keebra Park.

Kurtis Rowe - Fullback (Australian Schoolboy). Another from last year's NYC winning squad who has natural fullback instincts with good speed and support play and pops up all over the field.

Brendan Santi - 182cm, 95kg, lock. Part of last year's NYC winning squad. Has a high workrate and is a good defender. Former Australian Schoolboy captain. Spent part of pre-season training with FG.

Nathan Scarano - 178cm, 89kg, wing/centre, strong agressive runner who played Australian Schoolboy rugby. Missed a lot of last year with shoulder injuries, big things are expected from him.

Paul Simona - 185cm, 90kg, centre/wing, played in Balmain's SG Ball winning side from last year and made the Australian Schoolboy team also. One to watch.

Brad Soe - 180cm, 87kg, played in last year's NYC winning squad.

Jarrad Szczudlo - 200cm, 112kg, prop. Probably the tallest player in the comp but will miss most of the season with a knee injury which is a shame.

Andrew Vela - 182cm, 95kg, second row. Part of last year's squad who missed the majority of the season with a shoulder injury. Would have made his FG debut if not for this. Australian Schoolboy rep looking to bounce back this year.

Luke Williams - 186cm,,94kg, second row/lock. Campbelltown junior with good defence and a high workrate.

I get the same feeling about Brooks, even though I've never seen him play. Just from all the reports and considering Potter will probably play him in State Cup, the suggestion has to be that he is being fast tracked.
Don't forget Potter debuted when he was only 18 I think, so he knows what its all about.
