This is the only news that matters there. Devastating loss for the side. He had his ups and downs but was a leading try scorer and working up a good combo with Satterthwaite.

Hope the kid has good people around him in Sydney…

Its a bummer really, as at some stage I was hoping to see Mitchell move to NSW Cup once this team could hold there own... They will lose a lot of strike power without Marion.

Hope the Op goes well kid!

Terrible news regarding Seve, but hopefully he recovers well and has a bumper pre-season for next year. Hopefully the team can keep up their good form and knock over the Eels.

Huge loss for the team!

Hopefully he does have plenty of support in Sydney and isn't too tempted to go back to the Gold Coast. After 6 rounds was looking in track for a big season. He's a huge talent. Hopefully the club gives him all the support he needs.

Anyone know more info on the injury? Did he hurt his shoulder in the weekend?

mentally, he'd be deveastated- after the mosese situation, im a bit paranoid with season long injuries to young people.

hope the club is behind him and provide him with any social support he requires.

unfortunate news for seve.
Surprise selection Kazzi at 9, would have thought Nay was the obvious choice.
He'll add spark of the bench.

Kazzi was a hooker and moved to lock when Mania was selected at hooker back in SG Ball, it will certainly stiffen the defence up in the middle. Nay is a very good prospect and I look fwd to seeing how he goes.

Must be a pretty shocking shoulder injury too. Usually they're only like 4 months or so aren't they? Simona wasn't out for 6-7 months.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe his age has a bit to do with it too - not wanting another Benji situation developing. Perhaps the thought is that a (virtually) full season out followed by another pre season will see his shoulder much stronger and therefore avoid a similar problem down the line.

Tigers hit back just on halftime, 28-10 to the Eels. We're down, but not out yet.
