JONES NAMES U20S TEAM TO PLAY RABBITOHS
3/08/2010 1:21:46 PM
Wests Tigers Coach Grant Jones has named his team to play South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium this Saturday night in round 22 of the Toyota Cup competition.

The team returned to the winners circle last week with a hard fought victory over Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks to move them back into finals contention.

Wests Tigers sits in eighth position on 24 point and go into the match missing key players in full-back Jake Mullaney, half-back Jay Florimo, and barnstorming back-rower Ben Murdoch-Masila.

The Rabbitohs will be a tough proposition, sitting in fourth place on the ladder on 28 points. Wests Tigers got over the top of the Rabbitohs late in their first clash this season at the SCG in round 10.

Box office windows open at 4.30pm. Gates open 5.10pm.

Kick-off is 5.15pm.

As much as I'd like to see the Tigers win this one, it's a tough ask against Souths given the way the Tigers are playing at the moment.

Surprise surprise…

Don't know about the "little" but I can see where you're coming from.

Don't give our lads much chance against this massive pack and team….got out of jail at the SCG , with one of their best second half efforts , but this Ssturday night will be even harder.

Hope last weeks very ugly win might be the catalyst they need to spark up.

Bodie will only get better,Liam will gain confidence from his match winning try, all they need is to get on the back of their impressive forward pack and anything can happen.

A goal kicker would be handy, might be time to try a second rower as kicker.

haven't seen many 20s matches this season, but i thought matt hyland was outstanding last saturday against the sharks
