NYC Team Announcement: Rd.13 vs. Titans

Wests Tigers NYC Coach Brett Kimmorley has named his Round 13 side to take on the Gold Coast Titans on Friday, June 5 at Leichhardt Oval at 5:15pm.

After a close defeat to the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 11, Kimmorley's side will be keen to keep pace with the top eight this week and make amends for a loss earlier in the year to the Titans, who scored a 34-16 win when they met in Round 1 on the Gold Coast.

Kimmorley's side have made a few changes to the one that went down to the Cowboys, with Bayley Sironen starting his first game for the Club, while captain Matthew Woods moves to the back-row and Mark McCormack drops back from the Club's NSW Cup side.

Not a bad looking lineup, although this team is so hot and cold. Hopefully they turn it on at Leichhardt.
 
Junior Tatola and Pifeliti Pifeliti are both only 18, both came from Balmain. Don't know how big Pifeleti is but apparently he was 95kg and 6ft at 12\. Tatola is apparently 119kg!

Big units I dare say. How have they been going?
 
Tatola's played most of the season in the back row, think this is the first ro second time he's been listed as starting front row. Going ok. Not making huge metres, or making mistakes so largely anonymous for a 119kg forward.

Pifeleti has only played 2-3 games off the bench after SGBall. I've got to say i was expecting someone with a bigger frame. He runs hard, that's for sure, but i'd say he's about 6'1 or 6'2 and low 100kgs at biggest.

Still lots of time for both boys to fill out into their bodies. McCormack off the bench is also only 18, as is Sirro jnr jnr. Lots of young players this season.

Wests Tigers NYC Coach Brett Kimmorley has finalised his side to take on the Gold Coast Titans tonight in their Round 13 clash at Leichhardt Oval.

Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 5:20pm AEST from Leichhardt Oval, Sydney.

Jeremy Marshall-King is a late withdrawal for the home side, with Sione Alofi called back into the side at fullback. Captain Matthew Woods is also out of the team — replaced by Esan Marsters in the starting side — while Jacob Liddle picks up the co-captaincy duties.

Jamie Hill comes on to the bench as Marsters' replacement as Kimmorley's side look to bounce back from their Round 11 defeat to the North Queensland Cowboys.
