NYC Team Announcement: Round 22..

Lodge with absolute stupid play after the bell with scores locked. Penalty to Raiders. Raiders win. Most insanely stupid finish to a game if football I've ever seen.
 
Lodge will be prone to do this, it is just the nature of the young man. He will mature and I don't believe we should worry too much about the score. Look at the bigger picture. Have a look at the talent in the team and realise many of these young men have potential to develop into very good players.
 
Posting from phone so bear with me. Scores locked. Silly play by Raiders gives us a20 metre tap with 5 seconds to go. Some hail mary running around well after the siren we lose ground so with everyone in front of him lodge puts a short kick across to his winger who is surrounded be raidrrs. Winger dies fairly well to get a hand on it but knocks it on and to stop the Raiders picking it up and scoring a playerd in an offside position has to pick it up. Easy 2 points.
Lodge was great with the ball for most of the half but a bit lazy in defence. Coach trying to get long minutes in his legs and backfired. He also gave a backchat penalty away earlier
 
I've said it numerous times. This team lacks anything resembling leadership. Both on and off the field. No players, no coaches or trainers are able to keep this team focused.

The entire coaching staff should go, give Heady the gig with his own assistants in place.

Lodge likes to win, and at times pushes things he shouldn't do. Brainsnaps happen with players like this who simply aren't too smart, but do possess a good range of skills.

The question is why wasn't Martin commanding the ball and either putting in the decisive play, or seeing the game out for the draw. It was his job as captain and playmaker and he seemingly failed.

At least Kharwin keeps scoring!
