Official Moses Mbye signs till 2022..

Mbye compliments the squad well he is safe under the high ball, excellent returning the ball with speed, kicking and goal kicking option and can chime in with a deft passing game in attack. He is probably an7/10 in most areas but much better than anyone we have at fullback. Naturally fit bloke so no Tui part two risks.

Looks like he is getting the hang of the fullback position as well.

Make no mistake, Mbye is absolute class.
He may not be in career form.
But, form is fleeting, class isn’t.
Mbye coming here is a massive coup by the Tigers and an equally massive loss to the Dogs.
Would not be surprised if he plays to half his potential and is still selected for rep honours next year.
He is EXACTLY what we need. Still can’t believe we nabbed him.
Now then, time to make some history.

I can see big upside being coached by Cleary and Hodgo. His positional play will improve as will his attack.

It’s a reason most fans are frustrated with Tui as it’s clear self drive and effort being out of shape for a professional first grader are the issue. He has trimmed down but not ultra fit and tough to play fullback and you can see by his feeble attempts he knows he is not up to it.

Doesn't seem like his heart in in the game either.

That tackle on Gallen on the try line did it for me.
If he wraps that ball up and gets his body under Gallen that first 3 tries isn’t scored.
Game changing moment.

ET's face said it all

I’m so glad you brought up that tackle on Gallen. Tui’s effort gave us an insight into why the Warriors were fed up with him.
His problems are mental as much as they are physical.
I too felt gutted with his pathetically cosmetic antics on Gallen - cost us the game and denigrated the efforts of his team mates throughout the game.
Can’t wait for Mbye, at least he has integrity!

I was really excited when he came last year but now i cringe every time he is in the team.

Feel bad for Tui, feel like the knee injury has held him back, seems very under done, maybe swap him for Kevin.N at fullback, give Tui a chance to recover properly! This is if we don't get Mybe before June 30 :sign:

Yep, that was very bad. Sad to say but Tui lacks commitment.

I don’t want Tui to be another brooks where it takes 4-5 years for him to start firing.
Knee injury or not if your named in the 17 you wrap the ball up when 2 other workhorses have softened the blow.
In my eyes there was no excuse for what I saw.

If he has a knee injury he should be in rehab..

I don't see the comparison's between Brooks and Lolohea , I can't remember Lolohea playing a single game at the same level that Brooks reached even when he was inconsistent in his early games

We have taken a risk with him and at this stage I don't think it is going to pay off , seems to lack the mental application of an NRL player

I could be wrong though , he isn't the only superstar not firing after a heavy post season workload that included the World Cup

Blokes like Morgan ,Taumalolo ,Woods ,James Graham have got off to slow starts this season also
