TEAM LIST Official Team List: Finals Week 1 Jersey Flegg Cup

Team List
Unlucky. I can’t believe the referee let the Dragons walk up and stuff around to take the restart twice. Some good players but the Harold Matts reinforcements will make a difference.

Good signs IMO.

3 11 13 All have big futures.

Matamua very good...constant D and linked. Ideal modern 13.

Kitione all class...NRL build already. Great offloads and lines.

Tumeth works hard…not much more. No impact. Maybe can make it as a worker. Very small for a modern forward though.

3 Sakura looks like a young Olam. Has improved out of sight since start of season.

Overall the key players looked good, but impossible to win when carrying passengers. We scored…then dropped ball from kick off. Trey Peni stripped on first tackle coming off our line… twice…

Good fight until the end, as I said earlier in the year I’ve seen a lot of our junior sides live, I’m yet to see a sualli, haas etc … I see a lot of club spin and hype about our juniors but that outstanding class above junior I don’t see it, that’s not to say kids don’t get better over time and mature at different rates. But when it comes to talking up his signings and blowing his own trumpet with talent identification, he talks a big game wazza, hope he can back it up in the next 2 to 3 years. Anyway good fight today boys, enjoy the offseason , and kick on next year.

Saukuru looks very handy!

Thanks everyone for the update. Sounds like we nearly got there.
Any man of the match?

I think you hit the nail on the head. There is no once in a generation style player..but I guess there is some meat and potatoes style players

Honestly, he has improved out of sight. I saw his first few games and he was clueless defensively...literally looked like he had no idea.

Today he was hitting and hurting them.

He is very raw, but could be the center we badly need. ***

*** touch wood.

Honestly, if you were a neutral and had no idea who any of them were...and could take one player for your NRL side, it would be Kitione all day, every day of the week.

Was not MOTM...as we had little ball. But, all his moments where he was involved were class.

He will be a topliner.
