TODD PAYTEN NAMES NYC SIDE FOR RAIDERS CLASH

Wests Tigers NYC Coach Todd Payten has named his team to play Canberra Raiders at Canberra Stadium on Saturday, June 2.

The match kicks off at 3.15pm and will be shown live on Fox Sports 2.

The Raiders lead the competition on 20 points, two points ahead of the third placed Wests Tigers who will be looking to bounce back hard after their shock 38-36 loss to North Queensland last Sunday.

Despite last week’s “disappointing performance”, Payten remains upbeat.

“One good thing about footy is that there is only a week between games so there’s always a chance to make up for a poor performance,'' Payten said.

"I know the guys will be keen to do that as I could see they were just as disappointed as I was after last week."

It will be interesting to see how the team bounces back this week. They gave Canberra an almighty touch up at Campbelltown earlier in the season, but the Raiders are now on top of the comp and playing at home on a cold Saturday afternoon.

I'd imagine Payten will be focusing on ball control and attitude this week. If the team gets that right, they'll trouble the Raiders.

Finally a game is on Fox Sports! It's only taken them 13 rounds! Lol Should be an exciting boost for the boys!! Will be a tough one facing the Raiders at home but I think our boys can get over line! Good luck boys!!

The raiders will miss Edrick Lee, but we will miss Noafluma.

I thnk Rowe coming in will be a handy replacement.

look forward to watching the boys on TV this week. I hope Rudolf, the wingers, Lovett and Santi play well, Ive been talking them up to my mates all year.
