I watched about 10 minutes of the Huddersfield v Wigan game ..and his tackle attempt on McQueen when McQueen scores was pathetic ......

Don't worry Hastings doesn't miss out .....three forwards are trying to put the ballcarrier down in a tackle in the lead up ...Hastings is standing tell everyone to go right and left when he should have been tying up the ballcarriers hands .....get the pass away to half who then hits McQueen .....

We got some Pommie Duds everyone .....yayyyyy.....

But but Hastings is going to save us from Brooks....right?

Not surprised at all.i have watched both in the past neither has done anything to give me much confidence

Hastings = Cronk ,Sterling ,Langer and Mortimer in some eyes ...yet is playing as the leader in a Wigan side looking at having it worst season since the late 70's / early 80's

And Gildart is in the same side

I hope they are both tanking big time ......

They could both be top tier talent in this comp.

I'll wait and see how they perform. Highlights and short snippets don't show you how well a player performs over the course of a season and that is what matters.

I can't see that working. I figure Brooks and Hastings in the halves and AD in the centres. I reckon AD should be at 6 now and working on his game but maybe the club sees AD as a guy who can give us some attack on the edges.

How many halves are performing well as locks in the comp today. Connor Watson or maybe Peachey ? Is there anyone else ?

He has always been trying his ring out and I never questioned that .....

The performance has equalled the effort lately ...and he deserves all of our praise for the last 6 weeks ...if our pussy cat forward pack showed the same heart Brooks has shown ...we'd be in a hell of a better place

I think the issue is they have to be better than all the kids here when they come over . And most pom backs arnt , so they languish in reserve grade .
The forwards are usually tough bastards , so they offer a point of difference to the kids over here .

He’s signing ESL players, while the Dogs are signing JAC, Burton, Dufty and TPJ. Fool seems like an appropriate word.

Burton is a great get for the dogs, Burton and Brooks would have looked good for us oh well

I watched the entire game. Unless he improves his defence and adds some bulk Gildart will get absolutely manhandled in the NRL. At this stage he is KOE Cup at best.

Hastings I thought was pretty good but the quality of the game was a loooooooong way off NRL.
