On report

What are your thoughts on players on report.
What I would like to see is, if a player is on report, he should be binned for 5-10 minutes or for the time the opposition player is off the field if injured.
I know this will be abused eg a low rated player trying to take out a key player i.e. Marshall the last few weeks.
ATM, the only one that benefits from reports is the next team or two they play.
A good example is Farahs suspension, it didn't benefit the dragons (who cares anyway), what would of happened to Farah if the player was injured for the rest of the game…... two maybe 3 weeks
I know some reports are incorrect & refs probably won't report as often, leaving it the match review committee.

Don't think they'll ever change it to be honest.
What would like to see is if a player gets say a 3 week suspension that they serve two matches the next two rounds with the 3rd to served when they play the team from which the suspension came from. I realize not all teams play each other twice and if this is the case then the three games would be straight up.

On Report is not a guilty verdict so punsihing players on 'suspision' is a bit rough… If the Referee deems the incident as Intentional Foul Play, it is a Send Off scenario.
