I think he chose NZ last year as he was in their initial World Cup squad but had surgery so didn't play at all.

If Dugan/Stewart can't get on the field and Hayne goes to fullback again, NSW could do worse than calling up Patty Richards for 1 year. Benefit from his kicking too given how close Origin can be.

taufua is a forgotten man here. he could still get in imo.

however, i think mcmanus played on the wing last year and i wish nsw just sticks to the same players coz imo mcmanus didn't put a foot wrong last year in the last game.

nofo on inglis could be a night-mare

woods and farah should be certainties.

taupau should be in the nz 17 for sure. simona could be a smokey along with all the other nz players you mentioned bar thompson and rowe.

Everyone seems to be suggesting Taufua is the man for the left wing. I don't think Pat is an Origin candidate. Can't see Maloney being dropped as they're pretty intent on staying loyal for some reason. If anyone should go, I'd like to see Pearce gone, but with him there, we've gone so close in the past even when he wasn't outstanding in attack. I think Maloney will be given another go even if it's just because of his goal kicking.
