Origin Player Ratings

It was Mitchell Pearch who failed to find touch wasn't it? Not sure he was that much better than Todd Carney. Pearce's kicking game was fairly poor.

Thought T Williams was surprisingly good when he came on.

Nope Carney failed to find touch. I thought Pearce played pretty well.

I think Farah and Hayne showed up all the doubters, both outstanding. Tamou outstanding as well.

Agree with an earlier post that the bench is what let NSW down. I think Todd Payten tweeted something similar, saying NSW was always going to struggle with that bench. Swap Buhrer for Watmough, he would bring more impact to the game.

Farah should be playing 80 mins in my opinion.

The only NSW players that impressed me were Hayne, Farah, Tamou & T-Rex
I think T-Rex didn't get enough minutes, Ricky Stuart is a dunce.

QLD solid as usual, #1

Yeah they were all good…I would also add Gallen and Bird.

QLD were solid without being brilliant. I thought Billy had his worst game in a rep jumper in years. NSW will be better for the run and with a huge home crowd will be very tough to beat....but the QLDer's, as good as they are, also have improvement in them. Game 2 should be a pearler.....

we all assume new will improve but that wasn't a polished performance by qld either. they get a little bit cocky or complacent and nsw will win the series.

nsw looked a more dominating side throughout the game (other than their RHS defence and their goal line attack), they can set up the platform for the playmakers very nicely, if they playmakers can capitalise on it, then it's NSW all the way.
