Origin selection discussion thread

It's laughable to think that in the space of five weeks the Tigers went from a position where we could have had four origin players (Robbie, Lawrence, Galloway and Lote) to not having any picked. Of course, I don't mind it but it's just funny how quickly our fortunes have plummeted. We should have won the Dogs, Panthers and Roosters games and if we had we'd be 7-2 now and on top of the table.

Groundhog day, as usual.

probably a shuffle with gidley to hooker, hayne to fullback, and one of the 3 centres to the wing probably tahu or idris.

they have gone in with 2 fullbacks, a winger, 4 centres and a halfback should be a great feeling to lose 5 straight origin series

So who is Idris replacing when he comes on? Who is replacing Ennis?

They'll probably fiddle and fart around with the backline like last year with Morris (Gidley ending up at hooker). I'd like to see Idris play as a backrower where I think he'd be best utilised.

I also think Luke Lewis could handle a stint at hooker, the guy is the type of player who will make a fist of playing anywhere and is probably the most complete player in the NRL (he has it all, ball playing, running, defence, leadership).

I reckon that Qld side will beat NSW. Qld forwards are still superior and the backline is definitely better than NSW. Too much skill and hunger IMO.

 Thats the spirit Geo…..now you if you could just install a bit of that passion into this lame looking team.

I wonder if the NSW selectors have forgotten who is in the QLD team?

Funny …I always thought Queenslanders couldn't care less who NSW Picked...

Besides when I run my eye over the toads....you got Lockyer who's past his best, Thurston and Cammy who are crocks and Darius Boyd on the wing instead of Lote....

NSW on the other hand have Hayne and the everywhereman Gidley.....

QLD better pray the ref's are on their side as usual......

IMO the Blues need a good old cleanout. Anyone who was in the team back in '06 and was still there last year needs to go because, clearly, they ain't getting the job done. All this talk about the team needing experience is garbage because experience hasn't helped during the last four years.

Told you so!!!

Sorry mate but you were waaaaayyyyy off

Jt and Locky dominated….again!!!!

Tahu put in one of the worst displays by a centre in recent memory.

Bellamy is a myth it would seem as well

Where do you start and did anyone honestly expect any better?

Gidley, Cooper, Lyon (at five-eighth), Kimmorley, Ennis, White, Creagh, Perry. Pathetic.

Im so confused!! How is Ennis any good. I tried to start fresh with him and support him because he is representing my state but he just does nothing. Apparently one of NSW best. So frustrated.
