Is this true ?? Just watching the originals show on Channel 9 and Ray Hadley just was talking about Jonathan Thurston He was playing juniors for Souths Sunnybank and Tom Raodonikis suggested someone from West Tigers should come and have a look at him . The person sent to look at him said he was too small and would not make it in NRL . What the …. hope whoever was sent is no longer involved with the club or his guide dog .

Shame it'll never happen, apparently J.T. isn't a fan of the Tigers and it's players.
I rate him up there with one of the best halfbacks ever, he is so creative & dynamic.

The show was pretty average I think, Overly staged.

I wont be hanging out for episode 2.
 
Agreed Spartan, I can't stand the host…forgot his name but he used to be a journo for garbage like ACA etc...he makes you feel awkward...

Like anyone who reports for A Current Affair or Today Tonight he is human garbage

Suits him to a tee, being a gutter journalist on ACA he'd fit into the category as a populist presenter who will say whatever the public wants to hear.
 
I don't rate JT newayz, he's a cancer to all teams. He's got really bad attitude and am glad he's at the furthest club away from me. Ive let him know this too.

happens all the time, people have different views on players, and when you only see them once, sometimes you under estimate their ability.

As for Des Hasler, Penrith wanted to keep him but told him Alexander was there preferred half back option, understandably he went else where, they knew he was great, but they had 2 very good options!

If by cancer you mean he helps his sides to win with his amazing skill and tenacity then I agree with you.
 
Happy you're thinking about the play Thurston is now rather than how he was back when this alleged WT person knocked him back. Remember he was at the Dogs for a while and nobody thought of him as a potential superstar at that stage. Promising yes but certainly not on the scale he is these days.

What is his bad attitude?

I can't believe they said he was too small. There are alot of five eights/halfbacks who are smaller than Thurston.
