Our Attack This Year

I watched the game head on yesterday and at least on 3 occasions Naigama was given the ball outside of his opp number and should really have been able to bust a tackle but went to ground,so this is where you can start .

People hold some grudges against Woods for some pretty weird reasons, but an unprofessional face at the coin toss - that'll do me.

Please watch any match replay this year after a try is conceded.
Woods is standing silent. Mouth closed. It only opens to drink water.
The rest of the time he is staring at the ground fixing his hair. He doesn't inspire others to lift. This is the captain's job. Call out the bludgers.
There is no leader out there.
Weird enough reason?

I attend the vast majority of games and watch the others on TV, and I can assure you Woods does plenty of talking. He's the clear leader of the team, in body language and in actions. It seems some people have an outdated idea of 'leadership' that basically calls upon one to yell at everyone - referees, team-mates and presumably the kids hosting the coin toss.

I think we need to start using the halves on both sides of the field and allowing them to work off of one another. At the moment Moses will stay down the right hand side even if he only has 5-10m to work with. I hate the whole left/right divide. We're becoming as predictable as the Dragons when they would have Boyd repeatedly coming down the one side.
Defense has always been an issue for us, but it is really worrying that we are struggling to score points.

I don't know about you guys, but I would like to see Tedesco occasionally getting the ball one off the ruck. I don't think I've ever seen Tedesco at first receiver in the opposition 20-30\. It would get him more directly involved in the attack and take some pressure of Brooks and Moses.

I've said it too often this season but we waste so many tackles in the red zone with Woods softing it up

I'd much rather Aloiai or Idris attracting 4 defenders and getting a quick play the ball

Count how many seconds it takes Woods to get up , we have nothing to play off after his hit ups

We don't run lines /angles at all well and Tedesco could kill sides if they got his angles right with his footwork and speed

What annoys me that the fans can see it and the coaches haven't a clue

Also Brooks needs to hit the line at speed firstly and then Moses straight up afterwards , Brooks usually get half decent speed play the balls

Good point Happy we do, we have the 2nd worse attack and worst defence, the only way is up surely.

I'm glad he finally barrelled the refs yesterday. First time i've seen him do it since being captain.Needs to smack someone in the mouth next week like old mate Klemmer. Fire up lad.
