@Kul said:Supply vs Demand!
The grandstands at LO/CS have been selling out over the past few years, it's only logical (from a business sense) to up the prices on these areas. WT are simply tying them into the other packages to make even more of a buck.
After all, wasn't this the point of all the upgrades to the grounds?
Upgrade the grounds/improve the team =Increased demand for premium seating =increased revenue from increased prices =increased profit from home games =increased ability to improve the team/grounds (and the cycle repeats itself)
Obviously it can work the other way too, but this is just result of the team as a whole improving on and off the field since the dark days of 2000-2003\. The leagues clubs arn't having to support the JV as much as before and we are finally buying some quality players.
bring it on
WT can afford to up the prices on these premium tickets because there is demand for them, and we are certainly on the path to becoming the **"ManU of the NRL"**

because there are only a few thousand (if that) grandstand seats at CS and LO as opposed to the numerous thousand on offer at ANZ. grandstand seats are high in demand yet low in supply. the only way supply and demand will equate is at a high price. basic economics. if there's a lot of a product, you can sell it at a low price. scarcity results in high prices.

Why do our General Admin season ticket holders, those that are going to sit on the grass, having to pay $100 more than Bulldogs supporters who get to sit on a seat?
@towntiger said:whilst the bulldogs are cheaper, they only get 9 or 10 games at ANZ the others are played in Adelaide and Suncorp - there is your $100 difference - you have to buy flights to get to those games, which actually MALES OURS CHEAPER!!!!

Dogs 10 games divided by $99 = $9.90 per game
Tiges 12 games divided by $199 = $16.50 per game, which actually MALES theirS CHEAPER!!!!
