Sydney’s south-west has raised its hand as the perfect candidate for a new, world-class, multi-purpose stadium.......................

Well Liverpool could have had it's own stadium with the Oasis project with the Bulldogs. The land is still pretty much open to development.

That would be great, closer travel, stadium draft looks quite nice and great ideas by designer

Looks like it would be a good viewing stadium, one to match Suncorp & Cbus for viewing of our rectangular game

great article, thanks ink.

certainly looks amazing doesnt it?! pretty sure if it comes to fruition youd have half the sydney teams playing there!

Part time wanderers stadium 50/50 with parra

WT would be crazy not to make it their fortress.

Bulldogs possibly but if WT make it their area (which it is via Wests JL) then would love to see it..

If we ever got the 2022 soccer world cup it would have happened for shiz.

If a new stadium is built in Sydney it will be in the Liverpool/Fairfield area and it will be a rectangular stadium.

I think to get such a project off the ground the WSW, Dogs and Tigers would have to agree to it. If it is going ahead we should try to build our centre of excellence there with some local and state government help. This would cement our position in South West Sydney. Ideally this Stadium would have been built at Campbelltown but my understanding is the WSW are much more favourable to a Liverpool stadium and they would be a major tenant.

Would rather it in C-town, but as long as its built in our area then that still would be cool for us.

That's a fantastic concept and would make a near perfect home ground given the location.

Guys just wondering why haven't we got a wests tigers leagues club. It will just be the best thing for our club built next to this amazing stadium

Campbelltown would be great but if they decide liverpool is better I'd be happy with that as it isn't to far from where I live

tigers moving to perth would be good for me!

what are people's thoughts on making this our ONLY home ground….

Assume this is finished in 2020 or so for a FIFA World Cup in Oz, i would be alright with transitioning into that being our only stadium. Heartbreaking to leave behind Ctown and Leichardt but it will have to be done eventually, and i'd love to turn it into our Fortress as was mentioned before

I wish it could be JUST ours but I am pretty sure that The Wanderers,The Eels and maybe even the bulldogs will be playing out of their. IF it even gets built….

I wouldnt need to be asked twice.
Do it in a heartbeat…we'd be mad to knock it back.
Parking, corp facilities all A class
But yeah its more than likely just a dream

With the right stadium, I wouldn't hesitate to move back to 1 home ground. In all honesty, none of our current grounds are perfect. But this:
- capacity - tick
- viewing - tick
- corporate facilities - tick
- location - tick

Tick tick tick tick BOOM!!!

I think it's a great idea. After going to skilled park on the gold coast last week, something similar to that in Western Sydney would suit us to a tee.
If we had a purpose built rectangular ground, that's easily accessible by public transport then I see no reason why our membership numbers wouldn't match those of Souths and Brisbane.
